For its intended use, I would expect it to charge it rather than slow deplete the battery. Definitely would get this over a third-party cable.

Virtual desktop with side quest app does the job wirelessly (though dosen't charge it) andmakes this cable redundant.

Except for one thing, how flexible it is around the usb plug in. Most of the time it’s going to bend a lot which causes it to start to rip over time. I wish they put something to prevent it from bending around where it plugs in
