This cable allows Oculus Quest owners to access Rift games, apps, and content through the use of a compatible PC. It is a must if you want to have a vast library and enhanced graphics and gameplay. The Oculus already has a decent selection but this blows it wide open.

Needed if you're going to run games that reside on your computer with Oculus Quest 2. However, take note: Because Oculus software can only be loaded on Drive C: (yes, Oculus does not allow you to choose an alternate drive and at the present time there is no alternative way to load oculus softwater to any other drive ) which means if your game software is not on drive C: you're out of luck, the cable does you no good, you will not be able to run Oculus and your game together. Besides the cable is WAY overpriced, others are available for around $30

Great product easy to use and cheap easy way to play while charging

This cable made my quest 2 wayyyy better!! I’m able to use it without worrying about the battery dying and it allows me to connect to my PC which adds way more possibilities.

Makes it a lot easier to play the oculus while charging it at the same time. Wish it cost a little less though as seems pricey for a cable.

Works as advertised and turns your Oculus Quest into an Oculus Rift, gaining access to all the Rift games and still have the portable Quest when you want it. Orientate the cable correctly or it will tend to fall out. If you go with an off-brand cable, people have mentioned that it is very stiff, unlike the Oculus branded cable.

Works perfectly if you can find the right USB port to plug it into. Being able to played modded flatscreen games in VR with this was awesome Resident Evil 2 in VR is terrifying

I bought the cord because I wanted the best. I’m not sure if it was actually worth it though I don’t use it as much as I would like. Wish it was cheaper

This cable is good, however we ordered it thinking we would need it for the VR headset. We found that the cable that comes with the VR headset was more than adequate. We returned the cable to Best Buy.

This cable works excellent with multiple devices, but the most important works perfect in the meta quest 2, i don't have to stop to play each hour haha

Oculus VR link works very well and enhances the Oculus VR headset with your computer game access. The product is high quality but the cost is excessive to me. There are other link cables available that also work well for much less. One is sold under the Best Buy brand. It is worth comparing if you want to save some money.

Does its job well enough. Very overpriced, should have just been bundled with the headset itself instead of the one that is included.

I bought this JUST to see if I could fix my issues regarding Oculus Link video being choppy in my original Quest 1 headset. Not only was it not the root of the issue (it was "Link Sharpening" in the Oculus Debug Tool), I've had more issues with this not launching Oculus on my PC when I activate it in-headset, prompting an unplug & re-plug in my headset. Not even the velcro strap seems to be creased properly or fit well on the standard Quest 2 band strap. Only reason I could see someone needing this particular cable is the length. The extra gig of bandwidth in the USB Test yielded little to no visible benefit.

It works. Better than air link in my opinion. Long enough cable.
