Not only was it not the root of the issue (it was "Link Sharpening" in the Oculus Debug Tool), I've had more issues with this not launching Oculus on my PC when I activate it in-headset, prompting an unplug & re-plug in my headset. Not even the velcro strap seems to be creased properly or fit well on the standard Quest 2 band strap. Only reason I could see someone needing this particular cable is the length. The extra gig of bandwidth in the USB Test yielded little to no visible benefit.

Gets the job done, charges the Oculus and allows you to connect to a PC for more a powerful VR experience and the steam library of games. You can find non branded cables for slightly cheaper, but not enough to take the chance, just get the oculus one.

Solved issues with airplay. Had a few challenges linking that instructions would have been useful but able to figure out with some troubleshooting time. Expensive but necessary
