You can get a 20ft for $40 on Amazon. Then if you have any issues connecting it, you'll always wonder, is it because it's not the official cable? This isn't Best Buy's fault. This is Oculus.

Purchased the link cable to go with our second Quest we had just purchased, the port actually broke off in our Oculus first use. Thankfully the whole thing did so I was able to use tweezers to grab the end poking out of the port and gently slide it out. Don’t know what the heck happened. We were simply testing it to make sure it worked, so first use. I was suppose to take it back but Covid and life and I missed the window of return.

No type-c port on PC, No adapter, no fun

These should come with adapters, such as: usb type c to type a I had to return it so I can first spends hundreds of dollars to upgrade my PC to use it.

This cable was not as good as I thought it was. When I ran the oculus app connectivity speed using the cable it wasn't even getting half the speed that it said it was getting. Bought another cable that is off brand and it did a lot better than the official cable.

Meta tells me to go to Best Buy for the warranty and Best Buy tells me to go to Meta for the warranty. Been going back and forth for a month now. Definitely not what you’d expect for such a pricey cable.

The cable has caused some intermittent issues while playing, game will freeze etc. I have another, back up cable, which helped me figure out it was this cable that was causing the issue. Maybe just got a bad one.

Cable rarely works, tried motherboard type c, her cases type c, and the virtual link port on her nvidia 2080 and had mixed results every time. Sometimes it worked, sometimes the speed wpuld change, sometimes flipping the cable fixed it, and other times the quest died while using the cable.
