Nothing "Pro" about this Quest
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to give this a 1 star as the lowest it can possibility go on BB site. This thing is completely uncomfortable to use if you're a glasses wearing person. The docking station is a joke where you are going to spend time getting it "just right" to charge itself and the controllers. Performance:. - Grainy color passthrough image - Screen resolution is fine (too similar to Quest 2) - Tested with Creed and Streets of Rage Clone (no different than Quest 2) Verdict: If this was slightly more expensive than Meta Quest 2 (599-699) it would be fine. At $1499 or $1099 it is a terrible over priced item. I have been a VR specialist since the original Oculus crowdfunder and current have the Rift S, Meta Quest 2, and now this Meta Quest Un-Pro. I would absolutely not recommend this

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a game changer if you want a workers vr/ar head set. It is pricey but the features make it worth it. I like the gaming and productivity of it. It is for me a must have.

Great sound on display, functionality needs some w
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've had this since release day and have spent a decent amount of time with it, I'm not sure however if the issues I have had are necessarily headset issues or issues with updates being needed from either the headsets end or from app developer sides of things. It's a new product which always means software bugs in the beginning. I find the tracking is not always great even though it has controllers dedicated to this and more sensors on the headset itself. I do find in certain programs though or even just the main lobby my hands do not always match up to the controllers and it takes a noticeable amount of time for them to get to an accurate position. In other apps where you are required to pick stuff up, my avatar will drop things even though I'm still holding down the triggers to hold it and when I first pick things up they often are immediately turned upside down which is a little frustrating. I bought this for work but it seems there are not any reliable apps that allow you to tether straight to a computer via usb-c and the latency over WiFi just isn't functional enough for practical long term use. App developers say they are working on it but Meta doesn't just allow developers use the USB this way for some reason and it requires complicated coding. As far as the physical features go, I do like the display much more than the quest 2 and it is much more comfortable when comparing it to the base headset strap of the quest 2. However, this is only if you are talking about a sitting upright or standing position. Since the battery is in the back now it makes it more difficult to use it in a relaxed position such as laying on your back or even sitting on a couch or chair with a tall back. The battery constantly bumps against the surface behind you and throws off your viewing capabilities where as with the quest 2 you could revert to the stock headstrap and not have this issues. I was really just looking for a powerful headset that was comfortable and would allow me to get some photo/video editing work done on huge or even multiple monitors in VR with good resolution. The only thing holding me back from this is the issue of not being able to tether via usb-c as I mentioned above. Once this gets sorted out and more updates come out for the device and it's apps I'm sure it will be great but if you intend to use it this way maybe just hold off until next year or for the quest 3 release even.

Price doesn't match the performance
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A few extra bells and whistles, maaaybe a 10-15% visual increase and that's about it. It is the least comfortable out of all the Oculus/Meta headsets as well. I still have my OG Rift, Rift S, OQ & OQ2 and to be fair, this headset is the best performance wise and feels like a higher quality headset, but it's just not worth anywhere near the asking price for what you are getting. Horrible value, IMO

Best All Around VR
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Face and eye tracking makes vr feel so much more real when you can see and express yourself while immersed with others. The tracking should really be an industry standard.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have both the Oculus 1 and 2. This one is by far the best one. Good but still needs work.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better than the quest 2 and it does not give me side effects . No nausea or feeling drunk after a couple hours of use. I did feel a little eye strain sometimes while playing. I don’t think its worth $1000 maybe $699

Game changer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My previous experiences have been with the Vive and Vive Pro on very high end engineering systems along with the systems attached to the HP backpack solutions. This single system by far surpasses both the visual quality and the overall experience for VR. I do a lot of stuff with utilizing the pass through features for a more augmented reality experience and the full color pass through is just high enough in resolution that it works extremely well. I also like the fact that this headset separates itself off of the user as to lessen the public stigma of VR where it doesn’t hug the face. This makes it much easier to accept by different people.

Worth the price!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is worth the $1499. The controller tracking, the pancake lenses, and the many other upgrades from the quest 2, all are a major step up in how you play. Yes, this is for productivity and such, but it is amazing for gaming! The extra ram, the upgraded processor, these alone give your games a boost in performance!

Overpriced, uncomfortable, AWFUL battery life.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controllers are nice. The color is nice. The color pass through is nice. The rest is awful. After about 30 minutes, wearing this thing gave me a headache, and my nose hurt. This is because the spacing I need to make things on the screen clear meant thee plastic around the lenses was sitting on the bridge of my nose. When I spread the lenses out, things got blurry, then the thing was STILL uncomfortable. This has a larger field of view than then Quest 2, but it doesn’t seem all that noticeable. The little blinders that clip on the sides to block light are a joke, and annoyingly uncomfortable. The dock is nice, but it’s a pain to get the controllers properly docked. The battery life is AWFUL! I’d be shocked if the battery lasts 90 minutes. Pretty much you’ll have to have this thing plugged in if you actually plan on using it. Not worth the money at all. Stick with the Quest 2.
