I bought this computer because it had two ports to connect to a medical diagnostic tool. A Best Buy representative found it for me. After it stopped working I tried to repair it in Brazil where I live. I was told it was an over heating processor glued to the motherboard. I tried to contact the Geek Squad when I noticed it was still under warrranty. For another 20 days. I will be back in the United States in 30 days. Both Best Buy and the company ehich refurbished it for Best Buy called Joy Systems said they would not honor the warranty even though it is broken now. I offered ro ship it from Brazil to them within the warranty period and have it returned to a US address. This has been horrible customer service.

I bought this laptop thinking it was a good deal. First, it didn’t ship with a charger. No problem, I can buy one separately. But when I try to set it up, it tells me that Wi-Fi 2 is turned off and it can’t connect to my home internet. I have tried everything I can, but it won’t let me past this screen. It’s going to get returned.

Terrible. Condition of the laptop I received looks like it was dropped down a flight of stairs. Laptop hinge is severely misaligned.

I purchased this to use for my at-home business that involves hefty document drafting. I also require a machine that has not only speed but capacity to run several applications at the same time to allow me to perform research while I am drafting lengthy, complex legal documents. This laptop does that and more. My only drawback is that the battery doesn't last long, however, for the price I paid for this machine, spending a few dollars and less than $70 at a store to replace it is worth it. This is one of the best purchases that I have made. As a refurbished unit Best Buy wanted to swap it out and provide a replacement re the battery issue but I refused that option as the laptop without the battery issue far exceeded my expectations.

In 6 months I bought 3 refurbished HP computers. I think that's a good enough testimonial, but here are some details: The first was a HP ELITE c1030 Cromebook, which I still actively use. Then I bought my wife's first HP EliteBook 830 G7. She is a civil engineer and uses quite heavy software for her drawings. The computer is doing great. It has the necessary memory and processing power to open and work on large drawing files, sometimes exceeding GB. Seeing that the machine was doing well, I bought one for myself. The three machines have very minimal signs of use, almost like new. All three machines have batteries at about 80% capacity, which is excellent. If very power-intensive applications are not used, up to 10 hours of operation can be reached. What more could one want?

I bought this HP 13" laptop so I could travel lighter for the sake of my back and with 32Gb RAM, 1Tb SSD, it's hard to say no. It's like new with no visible scratches and I can see the history of what testing it went through including a burn rate. Also, the power cord I suspect is brand new from China. Not a touchscreen, but love the backlighting on the keyboard. And I really like that while it's on sleep mode, as soon as you open up the laptop, it starts right back up with a sign-on. There's no negative to this at all and plus got it for some extra discount from Best Buy as they had it on sale. Thanks to Joy systems, the MS refurbisher of this laptop, I'm excited to use this on the go.

This is a computer that is suitable for serious engineering work - the processor is very good, and the memory is more than enough - 32GB, which can be expanded up to 64GB if you still need more. At the same time, it is light, mobile and very comfortable to carry. Also the build quality is more than good - it's HP! It has 2 of the good old USB3 ports for gadgets like smart card readers and a normal HDMI port for plugging in an external monitor. The condition of the computer is excellent - no visible signs of use (of course it is not new). The warranty is 1 year from Joysystems. The price is more than good for such a computer! For me it's almost the perfect computer for my work and the price/value ratio is the best I've come across.

The item came well packaged and with instructions on how to set it up from the refurbisher, JoySystems. The laptop looks practically brand new with no marks or anything along those lines. I’m using it for tech stuff, which takes up a lot of space, and its working great.

It's a good laptop; it used to be a business organization thing. There was no camera so if you need this for zoom meetings or anything of that nature, I will say look for another option. The display is normal and the best thing about the laptop is the speed. The Intel really helps and the storage is large.

Everything I needed for work at a great price. Love the small size. Only complaint is the battery life is very short, as others have stated in reviews of this product.

3 stars for arriving earlier than expected, Was really looking forward to using this, met all requirements -perfect size for travel, webcam, 32Gs of RAM, 1 T of storage etc etc. no obvious scratches as in other reviews. Unfortunately couldn't set it up and start using as keyboard didn't work. Some keys would work if pressed continuously down for 3-5 seconds-not at all conducive to productivity. Chat support not helpful

I bought it for my grandson to replace his one that quit working. He is very satisfied with it. All his school work is done on line, so he uses it a lot. He’s says it works well and hasn’t had any problems with it.

Great price and good laptop. 4 stars because the display screen sometimes “flickers.” Mainly disappointed with Best Buy for never telling me when the order arrived, showed “in transit” for weeks and when I called customer support, no one knew. Finally went in person and they said they had it but never notified me.

This laptop arrived absolutely flawless. It looks brand new. I am very pleased with my purchase and will look for Joy Sysytems refurbs in the future.
