Laptop was in perfect condition, aside from one minor scuff, which is not noticeable at all. I decided to upgrade because my previous device did not have enough storage and was very slow. This laptop has tons of storage and is very fast and exactly what I needed. I not only bought it for college work, but also video editing which I do frequently. While I still believe a PC unit is the best option when doing heavy-load tasks such as video editing, this laptop is a great and easily-portable alternative with its storage, RAM, and processor. Only downside is battery depletes very quickly when multiple applications are open or load is very high, but I just keep it plugged in during those times. Laptop also heats up, but not too crazily. The build is strong and sturdy, and everything is smooth processing. Another thing to note is that while the laptop has a finger pad for fingerprint unlock, fingerprint scan is not an option to set up, not sure if that is because of the refurbish, or the model is originally like that. There is however, face scan, and it works pretty smoothly. I believe the Laptop wire my laptop shipped with is not the charger wire that originally comes with the device, but it works well. Overall, I would highly recommend this device if you are looking for a long-term laptop and do many heavy-load tasks on your laptop. For college students who are looking for a regular day to day device, I might recommend something else, because this is way beyond what you require, although the price point for the specs of this product are amazing. It is a great deal, and amazing device for the price.

This laptop is excellent for my activities both work and school, its weight and size means I can transport it without problems, it is very fast.
