I needed something for my work rig to improve safety and visibility in residential areas. This has been a great addition to my rig.

This was part of a new Kenwood radio upgrade for my 2005 Ford Thunderbird. I was very nervous about anyone cutting up my dashboard for the new system, but the installer did a great job, and I love the end result.

After buying a 2015 car where a backup camera was standard, I decided to buy this camera for our 2005 minivan. This camera is decent at the price point, but certainly not up to what they are installing on new vehicles. I had geek squad install it. The good news: It works, it is inexpensive, and it tells you what you need to know when backing up. The bad news: Picture is a little out of focus - not enough to matter much, but it is disconcerting. At night, of course the picture is grainy - it is not a highly sensitive, low light camera - and it is not as good as what they are equipping the new models with. Still - if you are looking for the benefits of the safety feature for an older car, and not wanting a complex high def solution, then this camera does it. Realize that this is not must-see television, and that while backing up you hopefully not looking for compelling television..

I have had this for several months now, and it works very well. It gives me a clear view of what's behind my car, even in dim light. My only small complaint is that when I run my car through a car wash, the camera gets crooked and I have to push it straight again. Takes a few minutes of trial and error (and putting the car in reverse) to get the camera back into correct position.

panoramic view is nice,can safely reverse now,I like the wireless feature

So many cameras now days have no parking assist lines if you upgrade from factory head units. This one is great that you can select to have them or not when you do the install by clipping a wire...turn back on in future by splicing the wire back. I left mine on for I like the guidance it gives.

Geek Squad did a decent job with the installation. The camera is good, but not as clear as I had hoped.

Worst camera ever. Bought this after reading pretty decent reviews. Installed it at night and when it turned on the picture quality was horrible. I couldn't make out anything at night. The daylight picture was so so. I immediately returned it the next day and got the audiovox mini bullet camera. That camera had much better hardware and the quality of the picture is at lease 4 times better. Please trust me and don't by this camera. The audiovox mini bullet is the same price.

Camera is very very dark at night. During the day its great. Also started getting lines across dash after only being installed 1 ful day.

So like many other people, a best buy tech told me that this one was a great choice, lol. That was a lie. The camera cannot be adjusted and the lines are wayyyyyyy to high. Wont be listening to any "techs" again

Does not work well at night ver fuzzy. I need it more at night time hard to see backup big suv.

Had the camera installed in December 2014 and 2 months later it stopped working. I also found that when it's dark out, the camera is not that clear. The jury is still out on the warranty, if any.

My camera and wiring burned out in 4 months, 2000 miles and I keep it in the garage. Had to buy a new one and cost $100 to have it installed. Bought insurance for DVD and back up camera install, fine print does not cover camera or camera install. Disappointed Best Buy. So now I have over $1000 invested in the upgrade, yes call me stupid. Advice, keep looking ..

DO NOT BUY JUNK bad narrow picture And when i say narrow, you can back into a yellow pole at Walmart up close it only covers middel 2 1/2 feet,at night, you can't see squat. just past 1 year warranty it fails, i'm told now this camera in a cheap 80 dollar unit , and wont last past 1 year,so they wont offer a extended warranty,as they know it will fail. I see there is an identical unit for 59.00 bucks with 1 good review, do not buy.

Feedback from alternator is present. Im seeing wavy lines on the scren and sometimes it turns off and on when i back up I brought it to the installation technicians they said it was normal. I asked for a filter to be installed. Nothing they can do they said.
