You get what you pay for

Yes it works, it's fairly easy to install, and it's cheap. I would recommend spending a little more for a higher quality loc. The main reason is bass fall off, especially if you're vehicle has a factory amp as it will interfere with the frequency response. It just doesn't sound good. You could have the best subwoofer on the market, but the low lows won't come through.
