This line level controller converts high-level speaker line outputs from an audio source into low-level RCA jacks for quality music listening and is compatible with most vehicles' OEM systems for wide-ranging use.
A: No it doesn’t. I ran my rem off of my power outlet as that turns off once my door is open.
Q: When u install a out put converter do u have to splice into how many wires
A: If you want an simple install you can just splice into 2 wires, pick a side and splice both positive and both negative into one speaker, but to do it correctly you would splice into both left and right positive and negative wires
Q: How much would it cost to get this installed?
A: It was no more than 20.00
Q: What do you hook the the R gain and L gain spots on the loc?
A: I could be wrong but, if this is a 2 channel LOC, then you'd be feeding in 2 audio differential sources. This would make sense if you're getting music from both the Left and Right channels (front or rear, though I'd suggest the front for better quality). To answer your question, the R and L gain apply different levels of gain to their channel respectfully. It's not normal that the audio levels of the Left channel to be wildly different from the Right but, if they are, these knobs would allow you to balance this. Hope this helps.
Q: Why is there 2 brown wires ,do you ground both of them
A: You can use them as grounding but not necessity for full function
Q: How much is it and dose in the store
A: It doesn’t store anything. It just reduces the strength of the speaker output so that you can feed it into a device requiring a lower level signal. Period. End of story.
Q: Is I compatible with a 2018 Dodge ram Truck
A: Yes just tap into the rear door speaker wires and be sure to connect to a ground works amazingly even better than the lc2i look on gen 4 ram forums to find the color speaker wire you’ll need to tap
Q: Is this compatible with a 2015 GMC Sierra with the bose setup?
A: its just a line out converter, its compatible with any speaker wires. it just converts the signal it RCA outputs, for adding an amplifier.
