• No it doesn’t. I ran my rem off of my power outlet as that turns off once my door is open.

• Do not get this one, I went to a car audio place and i was told the LOC converter was a cheap one. So I had to buy a better one but it was only $20.00. The new one you could connect the remote,ground,power and the other speaker wires. Will turn off automatically with the amp.

• That second answer said he ran power and a rem. How? The item has 4 speaker leads and 2 ground wires coming from it??
