If you're a Metroid fan, this is a must buy! Graphics are great and fun action game with a good story.

Great game even if this is your first Metroid experience it won't be your last.

As a long-time Metroid fan, this game really impressed me as I think it's the first time in a long time that Super Metroid was rivaled in quality. The bosses are tough but fair. They quickly become tests of skill and observation. The EMMIs take the idea of the SAX from Fusion and extend it further. Every time you enter an EMMI zone, you learn to quickly find escape routes and hiding places. Excellent game and my favorite game for the year so far.

Super smooth gameplay with great graphics. My favorite entry in the series ranking right up with Prime.

Shipping was delayed a bit, but I purchased it for my son who is old enough to wait for a gift :) other than that, the process is always easy. The game itself is great. He is enjoying playing it, but i have not played it.

Best game ever. The only one as good as this one is SUPER METROID. But definitely a fun exciting game.

I grew up as the NES was coming out, I’ve played nearly all the Metroid games this far, and I can honestly say that I feel this is the most polarizing entry in the franchise. I was not a fan of the robot that is forever hunting you. I felt like it was a good idea that the game just over-relied upon. Combine that with too many secret blocks that you can shoot and it quickly becomes overwhelming. Did I mention that the robot one-hit kills you if it catches you? Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very fun concept, I just believe it’s poorly executed. Other than that, it’s just what you’d expect from a Metroid game and that is never a bad thing!

This game is great! The controls are so polished that once you've mastered them, the EMMI will fear you.

Definitely a return to traditional 2D Metroid. Except now with modern updates to enhance the experience.

The original is the first game I ever beat and I'm super excited to add this to my collection.

Game is fun but pretty difficult. Not recommend for anyone young but pays incredible homage to anyone that grew up playing metroid. Tbh i gave it 4 as im on og gamer but never really played metroid. Would be a 5 star for any OG metroid fans.
