Exciting Metroid entry, but can be unnecessarily frustrating at times. Very large explorable world with often only one real direction to head in, which is sometimes difficult to know. Overall very fun, and graphically impressive.

Great game, but definitely very frustrating at times. I absolutely love Metroid (and Metroidvanias in general), but the E.M.M.I. mechanic and periodic difficulty spikes just felt like forced difficulty, making it difficult just for the sake of making it difficult. The big thing in this game, the E.M.M.I.s, weren't particularly challenging, just annoying. Overall still a great game, loved the ending, but wasn't a huge fan of the formula they chose for this one.
