Pretty hard Metroid game... Totally worth it. Buy it!

This is the kind of game every Switch owner should experience. It's got depth for those wanting to explore, a solid defined path forward for those that don't care to, while refining the formula that made Metroid so great in the first place and adding tense moments/enemy encounters fit for the modern era

This game so far addresses a lot of the pacing issues I've had with Return of Samus on 3DS (where even the weakest enemies slowed you down so you could counter hit them) while ranking up the difficulty, expanding on past story ideas, and just generally being pretty polished. The E.M.M.I.s are kind of annoying though. I don't mind having to run and hide from them but the parry window is so small there's a good chance you might be repeating those sections a lot. Bosses can kill you real quick too. You might want to play an earlier 2D Metroid game like Fusion to prepare cuz this one doesn't take it easy on you!

Take me back to my childhood. This game was the game that had me up for days at a time. Trying to figure out where to get the next upgrade. Very addictive for me. This game is one of the reasons that I still buy Nintendo, and will continue to do so just so that I can play the next Iteration of this game.

Metroid Dread, is simply a welcoming and challenging entry into the series. It presents a wonderful story to classic gameplay elements with some quality to life elements. A highly recommend title for those getting a Switch for the first time, or for those who wish to continue the legacy. A well worthy purchase.

One of the best 2D Metroid games ever. I'd only put it behind Super Metroid. It's a lot longer than Fusion or Zero Mission, so I felt I got my money's worth even at $60. Excellent controls, very smooth frame rate with only occasional dips, great level design, and the story isn't bad either.

Being a newbie to the 2d Metroid gaming, this game is fantastic! Graphic are simple but beautifully effective. Gameplay is responses and action is fluid. Really good and fun game. I wanted to explore every corner and had to make notes of things I can't get to and come back later after I upgrade.

This is not Metriod Prime. This is Metriod Fusion (GBA's) sequal. A great walk down memory lane and bring back the fusion Suit. Your typical Side scroller from the age of 90-00's handhelds.

Fantastic game! My finger tips have been pushed to the limit and my YouTube guide watching times have shot up exponentially but I do say the ending was quite worth it! Yes, my game time was about 9 hours for a semi-casual playthrough, but this game was a nice tie up for the 2D Metroid series.

Metroid dread is one of the best switch games available especially if u are a Metroidvania fan the wait from fusion and zero mission to dread was worth it because this game turned out to be just as good as those games where which is saying a lot because they are almost perfect games to me.

I've loved Metroid ever since the first one came out on the original NES (I'm revealing my age here). This is one of the best installments in the franchise in terms of graphics, gameplay, control, and overall experience. Even if you aren't familiar with the series, this is 100% worth your time.

I was never a huge Metroid fan growing up but really enjoyed Metroid Prime 3 on the Wii. This game was extremely satisfying to play and the strategies that you must utilize are engaging. Highly recommend if you want to experience the best that the Switch has to offer.

A must play for Metorid fans and Metroidvania fans alike. It may conclude the Metroid storyline but it is very accessible for anyone looking for a challenging but fun video game. Yes it is hard but once you get the puzzle in front of you it is such a great feeling.

I went in skeptical, but came out a believer. It's a game that's just the right size, just the right length, and feels like the dream Metroid game to play. Also a surprisingly nice visual showcase for a 2.5D Nintendo game. Maybe my favorite of their takes on that style.

Finally a new Metroid game. Going 2D was a little strange.
