Amazing game. Might be a bit challenging but it’s so satisfying once you beat it. My first time playing a 2d Metroid game. It was difficult at first but once I got the hang of it it was pretty easy. On my third play through and I’m still having fun.

I am a big Metroid fan and have played all of them released over the years. This one does not disappoint. I enjoyed playing through and completing it at 100%. I have let a few friends borrow my copy and they have enjoyed it as well.

This game gets really intense. I've played most Metroid games up to this point, and this one feels unique even just from the amount of the game I've played so far. Challenging (especially with the super smart robot AI). fun, and beautiful to look at

As a big metroid fan I was greatly satisfied with this game and met all the anticipation. The whole new robot dynamics add some freshness to this iteration. Loved the music and the graphic. I wish it was a bit longer though. Definite buy!

It's good... like really, really, REALLY good. It's just that Hollow Knight's better at a 3rd of the price.

Absolutely gorgeous game. Intense action. Suspenseful. Difficult. Very Metroid. Lots of great abilities with excellent, intuitive control. It's not super long, but it is worth coming back for multiple play throughs.

The long-waited sequel to Metroid Fusion, this game is an excellent blend of action, adventure, stealth, and with elements of horror. Nintendo is usually the best with first-party games, and this is no exception. Worth every penny.

Classic 2D side scrolling fun. If you like the original versions of Metroid you’ll love this game. It’s kind of tough getting through the evasion of the EMMI at first but once you get the hang of the controls it is a breeze. Highly recommend!

Best Nintendo Switch game of 2021. Ever play a game and regret, or can't stand when you are getting close to the end. Well here ya go!!! Prime (haha) example! I remember playing back in 1986, Mercury Studios you guys are legend!

I have been a lifelong fan of the Metroid series and can confidentially say this is ths best of the bunch. It's also the most difficult but the fluidity of movement, combat and exploration keeps it a joy from start to finish.

I own EVERY Metroid game since the first one on the NES and this game is AMAZING. It is by far my favorite game of 2021. I have other games i havent even played yet because I dont want to stop playing Metroid Dread. BUY THIS GAME!

I was extremely excited when this game was announced. I love the 2D Metroid games. The level design is fantastic, the story line is great. I hope Nintendo does more of these side scroller Metroid games.

Easily my game of the year. While still a bit more linear than Super Metroid, it still promotes exploration and sequence breaking. The developers learned from Samus Returns and made what has become my second favorite Metroid title.

Every Metroid fan should play this game - or any fan of metroidvanias in general. I’m halfway through and have enjoyed every minute of it. Not many games make me think about them after I walk away, but I can’t get this one out of my head.

Fun game! Always loved the Metroid series and this game blows it out of the park! It was much easier this time to collect 100% of the items in this game. Bosses were challenging to beat, which added to the fun of the game!

Decent Metroidvania experience. The EMMI zones can be more annoying than fun at times but overall a decent game.

If you love metroid, you probably got this game already. If you are a newcomer to the series, this is a great starting point. The movement is more accesible while still maintaining a good amount of challenge, without feeling unfair.

Wow I bought the white Oled switch that will literally blow your mind.. it's so freaking beautiful.. game is very well done... This is a must buy if you bought Oled Switch in white as contrast is just eye candy.. highly recommended

Good return to the franchise. Ost was the weakest link in this game imo otherwise a very good Metroid game.

After the recent slew of indie games that tackle a 2D gameplay style, it’s a comfort to know Nintendo still has “it”. Metroid Dread is fast paced, challenging, and brilliant in its innovations despite being a classic franchise.
