It’s been 19 years since Samus’s last 2D adventure but the wait was well worth it. This game is simply amazing and more people need to buy this game and experience it for themselves.

One of the BEST Metroid games so far. It can get pretty challenging but the challenge was well worth it. This game also looks great on the OLED screen.

A game that captures the magic or the original while feeling timeless. It’s rare to feel so rewarded when playing a game that adheres to a simple and worn formula, but here we are.

I loved playing through this game. There is so much to explore and discover if you take the time. Not quite old school Nintendo hard but as close as there’s been in a while.

Was hesitant at first for the type of game this was but once I started playing I couldn't put it down. Have loved this game and the graphics on the OLED model were fantastic.

First Metroid 2d game and wow its amazing! Very tough though and had some moments of didnt think i could beat it but kept trying and learning boss movements and finished the game!

Great game Nintendo has gone back to it platforming routes, enemies can be tough but got to power through, no hand holding in this game. It is now one of my favorites.

I haven’t finished the whole game yet but I am loving every aspect of it so far. Easier to pick up than the original and tough but fair enemies. What more could a gamer want.

Super Metroid has been my favorite Metroid game since it released on the SNES. This one might unseat it. The movement is so fluid and combat feels so good.

Wonderful game! Just the right amount of challenge and exploration. If you are a fan of 2-D Metriod or similar games like Hollow Knight, this is a great game to play.

BEST title in the Metroid series. Previously Super Metroid was my favorite, but Dread has pushed Super from #1 to #2. An absolute MUST play for any fan of the Metroid series!

It’s very challenging experience with only a few rough edges. Mainly it’s reliance on trial and error / Game Over screens, more so than previous games in the series. But once you get past some of the rough patches in the game, you get a very solid Metroid exploration experience. I just wouldn’t recommend it if you’re easily frustrated with repeated game overs.

Best Switch game on the system...hands down! Worth full price because the graphics are gorgeous and the gameplay is fun. Difficult at times but that's part of Metroid's DNA.

Great to see a new Metroid game. It’s been since Other M, 10 or 11 years since? Other M was alright, but Dread is a great addition to the Metroid series. Will not disappoint!

This game delivers a 6 Star out of 5 experience. The hype is real, Samus is back and the game is absolutely amazing. Words do not do this game justice. Play it.

I recently got into the Metroid series and this game is one of the best. The graphics, gameplay and atmosphere really make this a must play game.

Such an amazing experience,metroid has never interested me in story, but the gameplay was so well developed & so fun. I had a great time & it has replay value ^_^ worth it.

Huge props to Nintendo and MercurySteam for creating the best Metroid game in years, also is the best Switch GOTY, and recommend playing, especially for Metroid fans!

I had the original Metroid game back in 1986 and played many of the games that followed. Naturally I had to purchase the latest iteration in Metroid Dread. So far the game has been fun and challenging. The graphics are awesome as are the sound effects. If you are a fan of the original or any in the Metroid franchise I highly recommend picking this one up.
