Metroid is back on the big consoles, and I've been so far been satisfied with how they pulled off this entry in the Metroid franchise. The new moves and skills do not discard the difficult factor when dealing with puzzles and secret areas. Id give it a 9.5/10

Great game except enemies that you must avoid (who basically automatically kill you if it catches you) ruin the fun at times.

Not my favorite Metroid game but still good and fun in the 2d style that it is. Better and newer graphics and fun to play.

This was a game for Dad, but the boys took over! Spoiled brats... Ha, Ha! This is some good family fun. It is an awesome addition to the Switch line up. Warning-It is a shooter game, but very mild.

im still tinkering around on this game, its gonna take me a while to figure out a few things as its been a real long time since ive played any metroid game. i got it with a bundle deal with my nintendo switch oled, it was a great deal

Great to see Metroit back after it's disastrous last entry. Looks great, kind of a launch title for the Switch OLED.

Love it, reminds me of the old ones but doesn't seem like an old game. Wish it was a little longer.

Great like old school. If you don’t cheat it lasts a while and there’s a new no surprise not yes at the end.

It's a fine enough game. But not one I could get into. A lot of searching with little reward. If haven't already played and enjoyed a metroid game in the past, I'd be weary of paying full price for this. Try Super metroid for free on your switch first. If you like it, then buy this game. Wish I had followed that advice.

I hope this is not the game we were looking for. Us truly Metroid fans are waiting on another prime game so. Nintendo panicked and gave us this to fill our tummies up with some content until they get their heads together.

Bought this for my husband who has played it once so far even though I got it last year. He loves the game but doesn’t have the time to play. Hopefully he’ll get to finish it before another Metroid comes out.

Pretty good game for a shooter . I used to play the GBA releases as a kid so this brings back those vibes

I've never been a huge Metroid fan but this game is really fun. The world is interesting and the bosses are satisfying. I found some of the power up puzzles a bit frustrating, but that's just a minor gripe.

Bought this game as Metroid was my favorite game on the NES growing up. This game did not disappoint. So many levels and intricacies to this game that it keeps me invested! A must own for any switch owner

I bought this as a birthday gift to my brother. He has played it almost everyday since he got it. There are some places that frustrate him, but eventually, he gets through them. He seems to be really enjoying it.
