We'd like to chime in and let you know that Xbox Gaming Controllers do not come equipped with the ability to re-charge. The Cable for Windows is simply to enable you to play on your favorite Windows 10 device. However, some of our customers have mentioned that they have purchased re-chargeable batteries for their controller with a separate charger, which might be a great solution for you. To turn off your controller, simply hold down the center button. We hope this helps!
