Absolute trash
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GARBAGE (non-recyclable). You have to insert batteries into this thing for it to work. And it doesn't even talk. Don't waste your time

Flimsy Controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased to have a 3rd controller for kids. This seems super flimsy, poorly made and has something rattling around inside. Too much money for low quality.

Broke less than 6 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it worked, it worked good. but within a few times playing the buttons started sticking, and as of last night the thumbstick broke completely. I'm not a big gamer person. Played this thing a handful of times and it broke on me in the middle of a game. Not worth the money, when you can get off brand ones for half the price and the one of those I have still works. Plus the one time I did manage to get the Bluetooth to work, it was very laggy, so not buying another one of these for sure

Returned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my pc and had to hunt down the drivers to use it. Once I got it downloaded I quickly noticed the left joystick stuck slightly in the down position. Glad I’m a PS4 and PC gamer.

Already Broken
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a new controller it is already performing horribly. The joysticks randomly stick and the controller is disconnecting. I thought it was the batteries at first so I got some new ones just to figure out, yep it was the controller. I hope there is some kind of warranty because this is bad for a new controller

Improved connectivity--at a price. Also QC issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new Xbox One controller (can be identified by the plastic being one continuous piece from around the logo to the main grip, vs the older style, such as the white controller with a glossy black part around the logo) offers improved connectivity with Bluetooth standard, as well as the proprietary 2.54 Ghz protocol used by xBox, even though this model includes a cable for wired use. Another claimed improvement is a doubling of usable distance while wireless--I haven't tested this claim vs previous models. There are a few issues with this controller, compared to my previous wired xBox 360 controller: 1. Controller is smaller--distance between right analog and d-pad is much reduced, and my larger hands feel very cramped. I especially feel a lot of chafing 2. Controller is not plug-and-play, even on Windows 8.1--I had to manually track down and download the drivers 3. Calibration tool isn't very clear about what buttons/sticks it refers to And in Wireless mode, there are even more caveats: 4. Bluetooth wireless mode only works with Windows 10--which we all know is notorious for breaking things with its automatic updates 5. You can only use 1 controller in this ^^ mode, without an adapter 6. The wireless adapter is only $24 and enables multiple controllers, but there are interference issues if there are active USB 3.0 devices in the signal path--this is a known issue with certain USB 3.0 devices and the 2.54Ghz wireless spectrum, although it's more evident when using on a PC, because you're likely to have more active USB devices. All in, $125+ just to have two wireless controllers is pretty silly when I don't even own an xBox One, but I guess that's the price to pay these days. The worst part is that my "A" button sticks down at least 25% of the time due to some sort of misalignment during assembly. I still would recommend, abeit reluctantly, this controller over the Xbox 360 Wireless controller for Windows given the pricing, which is only about 30% less than the XBO wireless controller

2 defects in a row
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.first time buying xbox official controllers, always went for the cheaper and better calibrated afterglow controllers. I bought one this morning to find that the x axis rotation was off, causing it to drift to the left. Having figured that i just got a defect, I exchanged it for another one they had in stock. After playing for 5 minutes I come to find that this one also has a drag to the left as shown in the pc joystick configuration settings, and the A button needs to be really pushed in to work. two manufacturer defected controllers in the same day. Should I see if I get a 3rd defect from the same store?
