I ordered this hoping I could get a cheap replacement for the controller that came with my Xbox but quickly realized it wasn’t worth it. The one I received worked well the first time I used it and completely flopped all times after that. It’d disconnect and would not reconnect to my Xbox afterwards until I’d try again later. At first I thought it was my Xbox, but my old controller, which I was replacing for hardware damage, would still connect just fine to my console. I decided I’d have to bite the bullet and get a brand new one, but I’m never purchasing a refurbished product again. Fortunately, I was able to return the product and get a full refund except for the shipping cost :/

Bought two controllers, The first was great the second was filthy and definitely not cleaned in anyway from the previous owner. Plus the joystick would stick. Disappointed with this.

Unfortunately this controller didn’t work when I opened it. BUT!! I was able to return it at the local store without a problem, and just bought a brand new one. The new one works great!

I kept having problems with the controller losing the connection to the Xbox

I should’ve returned this controller before the return deadline was up. I had problems with it from the very beginning. It kept losing connection to the console and had a hard time reconnecting.

First opened up and used it. The right trigger sounded weird and felt a little tight. More so than the left. Now within three weeks of using it, the right trigger got stuck down and won’t come back up.

Purchased two of these controllers for my kids. Neither had a 3.5mm headphone jack that worked when connected to the console via usb cable or bluetooth. Tried different sets of headphones, updated all firmware, and power cycled the console multiple times. All a no go. All headsets work fine with my current controller which is the same model (just not a refurbished product through best buy). Will be returning the controllers today. Buyer beware, price is cheap for a reason.

I can see now why this was returned. When you hold the controller you can twist the handles a little so it's losing up and will eventually fall apart. My controller from the bundle doesn't do it. This will be returned.

This was a very good option because it looked like brand new.

Product like new no major scratches and all buttons worked

After a full year of usage, the controller moves on its own to the top. Understandable since controller was broken and fixed before. Moves upward at least 3-5 time a day on its own.

When I got the controller it was good looking but after using it for about a week or so it started to brake. The vibration wasn’t working

The controller sent was the wrong one and the buttons would get stuck. I could see residue in between all crevices.

I previously purchased a Geek Squad refurbished Nintendo Switch controller, and it has worked as good as new for about a year. Unfortunately, this controller stopped working after less than a month of use. I was able to return the controller since it was still within the return window, but buying refurbished controllers looks to be a bit of risk. You may save some money and get something that is as good as new, or you may be stuck with a lemon.

One of the buttons is stuck -- which essentially renders it, and the xbox useless. Very poor execution and quality control.

It worked but the one joy stick was messed up and i aint notice til it was too late

After a week use the plug in for headphone doesn't work,so my kid can't talk with his friends

Its geek “approved” but the reconnect button stocked, so like this you cannot use it. Do not order!

I was disappointed for the first time ever with Best Buy. I returned it and was sent another one and it did the same thing. I returned the second one as well. The Geek Squad Certified Refurbished did not help work.

It's broken already. The right bumper won't work. I'm really disappointed in best buy for selling refurbished junk. It makes me not want to do business with you and now I need to buy a new controller and I want new head phones. I'm thinking I should just go to Walmart where I expect to spend money on junk. I thought best buy was a step up.
