I bought an adapter for it as well as with his specialized schooling, he was able to use it when working on high end vehicles (he’s a mechanic.) It was able to be plugged in to some of the cars he worked on and he was able to learn more and it really helped with his schooling. Cost was pretty good. We both use it and I use it now daily for my schooling. Love it!

I'm glad I did, the 10" surface is fast for only 4 gigs of memory. The first thing I did was, took it out of s mode, bought a cover, pen and keyboard. The only complaint was the 64 gigs of space. I bought a 120 gig micro sd card for that. So, if you are looking for an alternative to the bad apple, get yourself a microsoft surface you will not be sorry.

All the fun possibilities, Netflix Spotty etc, plus Navigation full and online capabilities, and the comfort of Office to work, project, etc. Add a camera and you are done. Its a fantastic tool at a very accessible price, plus light, easy to carry, easy to live with... You got it. AL

It has a long battery life and with the prop up feature you can use it in a table top or lap. You have an option of working without an accessory keyboard with the touch screen feature and can activate the dictation feature withing Windows as another alternative. What is a downside is the lack of USB ports and needing to convert any existing peripherals to the new smaller version that this model requires.

I've used Macs and Ipads and this is better then either one lol. If I'm being nitpicky the keyboard size is my only complaint but you get used to it. It runs all the programs I did on my Mac for literally half the cost and I can also use it like a tablet if I wanted. It's extremely versatile and can take it anywhere. It's awesome. I have been checking out other Surface produces and I am dying to get a surface book 2 now.

It's not super powerful, but power is not the reason I got it. I wanted it for quality and portability and it delivers on both. Has a great feel to system and the physical use of it. The only problem I had was with the security settings which locked me out shortly after getting it, its some kind of error that occurred in the OS and forced me to manually reboot the whole computer. I didn't loose too much since I didn't have it for long, but I RECOMMEND BACKING IT UP CONSISTENTLY.
