Good for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a quick and easy webbook this is the right one to go with. I immediately took it out of A Mode which makes the Surface Go a computer instead of a glorified tablet and it doesn't do a bad job. I don't use it for software or apps but for we browsing using Google Chrome. If you want a computer though for software I would recommend a better device like the Surface Pro... But this gets the job done and it's portable.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the versatility of this Surface Go. I can use it as a tablet or attach the keyboard and use it as a small laptop. It's small enough to fit in my shoulder bag and is not heavy or bulking. Even when the keyboard is attached. If you get the 64 gig version you may want to buy an additional MicroSD card for more storage space.

Little gem!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was actually shopping for a tripod and ran across a surface go on display. Being a bit sceptical about the low price I spent the next 30+ minutes trying it out. I did eventually find a tripod but love this little surface. It's plenty fast, has a nice crisp and clear display and battery life seems good too. My only negative would be the smaller keyboard size with my larger hands but I can tolerate that. Well built and great price.

Serves My Purpose
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new tablet or laptop for school. I didnt need anything powerful, basically something I can write papers and read books on. I almost didnt get the Surface Go because I couldnt download the program I use for writing. An amazing employee showed me how to take the go out of Windpws S Mode and I purchased without hesitation. So far so good. Again. Not a powerful tablet but a great essential for my school work both at home and on the go!

Great tablet for my needs on the go
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned a number of Kindles and one again after about a year the battery is giving out again. My son the computer wiz said, "Dad, check out the Surface" I am so glad I did! The speed is awesome, the screen is incredible, the speakers just right and it does what I need. I've had keyboards for the other tablets and none can compare to this one (too small and you have to sync it every time).

Great for college students
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The surface go has been amazing for me. It functions like a regular laptop and I’m able to take notes in class with the pen so I can be a paperless student. Honestly the best thing about the go for me is the size. It’s small and lightweight I’m able to carry it around with me with my textbooks without the extra weight and fits perfectly in my backpack. Great for college students and on the go workers.

Awesome Laptop Replacement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I heavily debated purchasing the Surface Go vs. an Apple Ipad. Ultimately I decided upon the Surface Go. I am extremely happy I did. After disabling the S mode feature I was able to install the software I wanted including Office 365 and Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. The Adobe products aren't blazing fast on the Surface GO, but they are certainly capable of making minor edits while on the go. I'm not a huge gamer, but Asphalt 9 runs pretty smoothly on it. The only con to this machine is battery life and storage. The battery lasts about 5 hours or so during heavy use, but on days when I am not on it to much, it'll last me all day. I do wish I had upgraded to the 128gb of storage version as I am already almost at my limit. That's ok though as I think I have pretty much everything I need and use Google Drive Stream for the rest. All in all very happy with my purchase. Pen and Keyboard are a must have! I also bought an additional battery charger for a second location.

Decent
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a decent “laptop”. I initially got this because I was going through college and figured this would be cool to write notes on since it’s an iPad laptop combo. Well, it was very convenient in the sense that it was extremely light and easy to bring everywhere, but my main issue was the amount of storage on the device along with the amount it would crash. With the limited 64 Gb of memory it comes with you’re about 3 software updates from being out of space on the machine. Luckily it does have a external SD card reader so you can store things there. I would recommend this if your end goal is to have a simple device to bring to class and back, for notes, otherwise this is a very limited device. Most of the external keyboards and things that are sold separately are uncomfortable and clunky so it’s just weird. My suggestion is to find an integrated laptop with like a flip keyboard. I give it a 3/5 because it makes for a good time when watching movies in bed.

Best tablet computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best tablet computer I've ever owned. I have the Surface Pro, Fire Tablets and multiple iPads. Surface Pro is just too large and heavy. Surface Go is same size as iPad, but using Windows works so much better with our computer network. Having to use an iPad adds a layer of complexity that the Surface Go avoids. Can acomplish so much more with Windows.

For a "tablet" is a great small laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this and the keyboard to use more as a laptop than a tablet. Traveling for work it's company size is great. Works for everything I need it to. Had to unlock the non app store applications to get better use it if google based services where my information already is. One gripe is that I wish interfaced more easily with Google drive based apps.
