I had to have a computer nerd set it up for notifications in facebook and gmail. It was hard to find the exact settings and it took hours and once we found one setting, then something else wasn't working. Absolutely everything was turned off and had to be manually turned on. And the settings are all in different places and in several places. Cortana is somewhat difficult to use. You have to say things in a different way several times. It was set on like Chinese time so even that had to be set to U.S.

To make the most of tablet mode with Surface Go, you can remove the type cover and use your Surface simply with the touch screen.
