I thought that buying a Microsoft branded product means you are getting a quality product, boy was I wrong. I had it for a month, I overlooked it's sluggish graphics and horrible web browsing experience, telling myself that I saved so much money. Then one day I went to use it and it just wouldn't turn on. Thank goodness Best Buy gave me $100 credit which I used for a Lenovo chromebook, never been happier, goodbye Microsoft and windows.. Never again.

I just bought this laptop and I’m being at the store twice already so they can help me to fix the issue of not being able to see WIFI options, except airplane mode

I had a surface pro and I assume Surface go should be same thing, with smaller screen and better price. Performance was not good at all.

Was super excited to buy this for my boyfriend as a gift but less than a month later it crashed. Hopefully we can get it fixed or exchanged

Didn't like this. For the price difference, I went with the surface Pro with an i3. This product was just to slow.

Worked fine for a month then wouldn’t charge had to get it replaced and lost everything from the previous surface due to the swap out.

At first this worked as you would expect. Did everything right. After a few months it started slowing down exponentially. Now it won’t even turn on. It sits at the load screen and doesn’t do anything. Very frustrating for how much Money I’ve put towards it.

I’m not a windows fan so it’s why didn’t like it had to take it back for a iPad Pro that’s much more user friendly

Wanted to love this as a replacement for an older surface - but no method would get past my inability to connect with the store which makes this a brick. Google search indicates this is a widespread multi caused malfunction across all surface products. I returned and will buy something else.

Have to buy keyboard and mouse SEPERAT. Should go with cheaper 2in1 tablets that COME With keyboards and not $100 extra for just a keyboard!

I was a bit hesitant to get the 4 GB model, but I am so glad I did! This unit is very speedy. Now no, I won't have 10 tabs on google chrome open. But I can easily have 5 tabs on edge open, with a few more applications running in the background, and the GO still runs fine. It's great for taking notes, web browsing, typing up an email or paper, or for just watching some media during a study break. It's even capable of some light gaming (you can also stream games from your xbox, or from another pc to play steam games if your network is up to speed). The 10-inch size is perfect for portability purposes, and with the 3:2 aspect ratio, you have more screen real estate than you would with a laptop of a standard aspect ratio of the same size. Now I have seen some people complain that it is not a "full hd" quality screen. Firstly, it's not supposed to be! Full hd is a 16:9 aspect ration, this device has a 3:2. The quality of the screen is magnificent though. The 97% srgb accuracy makes this a great device for an artist or for media consumption. The battery life lasts me about 9 hours, depending on the applications I am running. Overall, I love this Surface, and I highly recommend the Surface Go for students or anyone who needs a versatile secondary device.

Bought this pretending to have a small device that I could carry around when out of the office or home. Battery life is around 3 hours (one third of advertised). I expected at least half. I would return or trade if I could, apprently the new version has a better life.

Not much disk space. It difficult to network with macs, but not impossible.

I purchased this product for my son for Christmas. It came with a defective screen so I exchanged it for another one. The second one came and it also has a defective screen.

Don’t use it cuz the surface pro is so much better. Waste of money

So I was pretty skeptical of the Surface Go (especially the 4GB version). I am not a lover of Windows 10, but I had been eyeing the full size Surface tablets for a while, However, the cost was always more than I wanted to spend on a 2nd computer. I'm a multi-OS user, and generally I use a $170 Chromebook for a secondary device. I love ChromeOS, but when my Chromebook screen went out (after 2 years of use), I started the search for a new device to carry with me when I travel and use on the couch. Due to the creep of Chromebook pricing (and the fact that BestBuy had a 4GB Surface Go as a discounted openbox item), I decided to give the Go.... well a go. Long story short, its a decent device; actually the best Windows Tablet I have owned.. Build quality is amazing, as is the screen and the type keyboard. I am using it with full Windows (the openbox model was already switched, so I never tried S mode). Performance is acceptable, verging on good at some things. I play Cuphead, and it seems to work great with Edge (minus some strange quirks here and there) . Occasionally, I do get some lag (such as when writing this review) between when I type and when it registers onscreen. It seems dependent on the website, but it is a bit disappointing in 2018. Battery life is okay, nothing magical, but okay. The biggest issue I have is the price. I believe that $299 would be a much more appropriate - ESPECIALLY since the keyboard is an extra $100+. Overall, I'm not 100% sure I will keep it, but I am pretty impressed. It seems like some stuff works really well, and I love the size. But when things go quirky, it makes me question spending $400+ on a second device.

Looks beautiful feels great but definitely was hot user friendly

I was really looking forward to the GO, picked it up, loaded my software and decided to charge it for the next day. Works great while plugged in and the battery says 80% charged but I will not turn on without being plugged in so it went back in the box and back to the store.. I tried

You can’t use chrome or download essential applications. Especially if it’s Microsofts competitor. It has a Safe Mode feature which is the limiter and when you disable it, the device under performs. The worst part is that you can’t enable it back on.

Nice product but not compatible with any older programs.
