The Surface Go (128GB) performs adequately for the tasks I need. The best thing is it's very portable. I slip it into the pocket of my Scottevest and take it to the library at the NGA for a day of note-taking. The battery life is really good, and it has never run out during a session. Excellent value for a real computer on the go.

Purchased the 8gb surface go as an ultra portable pc to travel with. It’s performance is excellent! I do web design and support which is mostly browser based, but I can run multiple browsers with multiple windows with no problem. I would highly recommend the keyboard cover, which fits and works flawlessly. Glad I decided on this model!

Been searching and trying a number of ultra-compact computers for some time. Have even tried some "no name brand" imports, with less than spectacular results. I originally felt the Surface Go was a bit too pricey, so hesitated on purchase. However, when Best Buy put on sale, decided to pull the trigger. Glad I did - this little laptop has performed perfectly so far. I have taken out the "S" mode; done all updates (time consuming to be sure), and installed all my programs. All went flawlessly. Even though this certainly isn't a gaming machine, I have even installed - and played - older games, while using 2 blue tooth devices when playing. Worked well. Screen is sharp and clear - plenty of brightness. Sound from speakers is pretty good for such a small size - sound through the headphones is excellent. There are a few compromises due to size to be sure. Ports are sparse - only USB C, headphone, charging port, and micro SD slot. I do like "magnetic coupling" of keyboard and charging connector, but would have liked to see a true clamshell.

This is the best portable computer I’ve ever owned! It’s a little slow, so dont expect it to be a portable gaming machine or anything, but it can handle a suprisingly large number of Steam games, most Blizzard games, and any kind of productivity you could throw at it!

I recently got this surface go. I travel a lot so I wanted a good on the go laptop, It is good for younger ages, and if you need a laptop on the go. The keyboard you buy sepratly has cramped keys for me. But if you’re looking for a actual P.C. you shouldn’t buy this. Overall I’m impressed and happy I got this product.

I was surprised to see how fast this tablet worked when I turned it on the first time and tried to do some work! I feel that at last, I'll be able to get rid of my laptop and can rely solely on a tablet.

I'm loving this laptop/tablet upon using it these past few days. I love the portability, close to an iPad Pro form factor. A perfect Windows tablet in my opinion. Way better than a Chromebook. It's even better than an iPad because of how much you can do on this thing. If Microsoft Store only has apps that are useful...

As an IT Pro I typically use a nice workstation for most of my work. I've tried many laptops over the past 30 years and found that I prefer small form factor designs that travel well. I picked up this one and immediately switched it out of "S" mode and then upgraded it to "Pro" as I connect to a domain based network. A quick note to many buyers...you do NOT need "Pro" generally speaking...and the "pro" label isn't one I like as it really should be "enterprise" or "business" to avoid confusion. Anyway, so far I've really enjoyed the computer and it's great for meetings and bringing to other office locations. I do recommend the keyboard and a separate mouse (I despise "trackpads").

when my work IT guy suggested it, while I was looking for a tablet, i was surprised. he's a huge Apple and Ipad guy, and yet, couldn't stop raving about this piece. well, i see what the fuss was about, it's awesome! a tablet, running windows 10, compact, great battery, highly recommend this to all!!

I like having options when it comes to my tech gear. This provides me with the ability to use Windows applications on the fly for school, work and personal. It was easy to set up and I like that it’s secure. I use Apple products as well but I must say, the Windows Surface Go doesn’t disappoint.

Great form factor; fairly light even with keyboard cover. Perfect for "lap top" usage even with keyboard. I now use the Surface Go three times as much as my Surface Pro (2017). Screen is bright and sharp and keyboard very responsive.

Good: small and portable, seems to be well made, for those who like the iPad but need more functionality. Con: maybe almost a little too small for some of my uses. I’m satisfied with my purchase, but if I was doing it over I have have gotten the larger screen model.

After I purchased this tablet my primary laptop malfunctioned 3 days later, I purchased this primarily as a travel tablet. So disappointed with my Dell XPS laptop which was a little over a year old and equipped with 16gb memory and a 512gb ssd. The screen flickered rendering it useless. I'm now using this Surface Go as my primary laptop and I'm impressed at its functionality. I have the full office suite installed and have not experienced any glitches. I don't intend to do any gaming, as this tablet wasn't intended for that purpose. Nevertheless, this tablet should accomplish everything I intended it to do from a business standpoint. The keyboard is actually very comfortable contrary to what others may say. If your on the fence about purchasing this tablet don't hesitate...…..Buy IT!!…...and buy it at BestBuy. They priced matched this item without me even asking. Great experience overall!!

The Surface GO is the ideal tablet for those who travel and need the ability to work on the plane. It also allows you to take hand written notes that can be exported into Word.

Nice second computer, looks good, works great. I use for emails and school. I had to go to Bluestacks to get mobile gaming though. Didn't realize this type of 'computer' is not like using a tablet where you can easily play mobile games direct from google play.

I’m impressed with the speed. I switch to this tablet for church business instead of using my personal IPad and found it to be a tab bit complicated and that may be because Im use apple products. I heard good things about this tablet and so far so good.

I really like this for travel and works amazingly well with the keyboard. Unfortunately, the keyboard is a must to get a nice experience. I really want to use it as a tablet but it just runs terrible as a tablet and I have the more expensive version with 8gb or ram.

yes, i'm talking about a Microsoft device. for basic email and internet and even some photoshoppin' I find this a very capable device. it's also the prefect size for handheld browsin' on the couch or in the car.

I bought the Surface Go for it's transportability. It is the size of my other pads. I use it to get a enlarged view of my pictures when still out in the field. It is so much better than the camera screen.
