Using a touch screen is still a bit wonky for me, but the device works well. A little less intuitive than I prefer, but overall, meets or exceeds expectations except that it was necessary to turn-off the MicroSoft only app security in order to allow it to function properly as an e-reader for my Amazon Kindle account.

The Best aspect is the size and convenience it gives.

I bought this about a month ago because my Macbook is slowly dying. While this obviously isn't a Mac, it does what I need it to as far as typed school assignments go. I haven't tried doing any video editing on it yet so I can't speak on that. But for the price I think it's a good deal.

The form factor of this device is very functional. I even love the larger bezels as it is so easy to grab in tablet mode and just take it around. I disagree with some that the keyboard is mandatory as I find I use it far more just as a tablet.

I wanted a tablet now, I am using this as a laptop. I washed a tablet ended up buying the keyboard and pen for the surface go and love it. I actually like the small convenient size and portability. Highly recommend it! Might even consider the surface pro next time I am shopping for something like this.

Got this as a gift and I use it mainly for classes but also to go online and watch videos. Very lightweight and the battery lasts. The touchscreen with the pen makes taking notes easy and the office suite makes this a student's best friend.

The surface go is the perfect size and its beautiful, aesthetic. However, what's under the hood was not able to keep up with my needs; watching videos, basic net browsing, social media and school stuff. I bought this device knowing it was not going to be perfect, but I could not justify the price tag with the performance video lagging, pages taking 10-15 seconds to load, even typing would lag 1-2 words as I typed . I returned the device and am now considering the surface pro 6, which I have been told is a substantial jump in performance for around the same price but a little too big for what I was originally interested in.

I really like this device. I had to reinstall the operating system. It might have something I did the first time. I had a tough time turning on the machine after turning it off. In fact I almost brought it back to the store. Since it has worked great. It may have been in sleep mose

It's everything you'd expect from a tablet with the "advantage" of Windows OS. So practical and useful for home and school tasks. The bad is that you just can add programs/app from Microsoft Store if the one you are looking for is no there you can't install from outside.

Handles all my day to day computing needs. I was able to upgrade to Win 10 pro without any problems. Surfing the web is easy and Office 365 works as expected. Very nice on the go from home to other establishments. All of my USB devices work with the USB-C converter I got.

Surface go does everything I need it to do as far as answering quick emails, working with Office, and some programs. If it came with an option to upgrade the processor to at least an i5, it would be perfect and possibly become my only computer instead of my secondary computer.

I bought this machine to replace one of my tablets at home. This is a full Windows machine that let's me do all the things my regular computer can do, plus have the flexibility of a tablet. Cool piece of equipment!

The surface go is a good device if you use a laptop mainly for Microsoft office or a few other applications. I'm a physician and use this mainly to access my hospital's electronic medical record application. Not as versatile when it comes to tablet functionality

I like this tablet. Works very well with keyboard. Is in S-mode, which is kind of annoying, can only download programs form Microsoft store. I haven't switched out of S-mode yet, will probably do so soon for specialized study software not available in M-soft store

I purchased it as a gift for a friend, so I don't know the first hand impression. But if it is any way a small brother to the Surface Pro that I have, it should be a no brainer at the discounted price. Purchased it along with the Type Cover and Pen.

Never thought I would say it but Microsoft Surface is portable, handy, and easy to take along where ever I am. I work in real estate and I can pop this in my bag and work from the beach, the amusement park, shopping, anywhere .. it is my office in my bag!

This computer was purchased as a present for our grandson. The process was very easy, perhaps, because we knew exactly what we wanted, and BestBuy happened to have it. We made the purchase on line and picked it up in the store the same day. Perfect!

surface go is very being able to do pretty much anything you can do on a computer but with a tablet and you can easily switch to tablet mode if you want i personally do love my surface go

Overall, it's a really nice device and works well! Mine was an open box-excellent product and though it said nothing was missing, it came without a charging adapter and cable!

fun and practical portable option. I was concerned about battery life, but for several hours of emailing, social media posting but it held up just fine, and I didn't feel like I was missing much by leaving my full-size laptop at home.
