Works well for this for the most part. Windows still has some glitches with the keyboard randomly coming up when trying to write, but it is manageable. Even with the 8 Gb of RAM and the faster ssd storage, you can notice some slowdown when switching back and forth between apps when multiple things are running. If you purchase knowing that it is going to be a little slow and have patience with it, the device is enjoyable to use.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As the most portable Surface series product which can run a full version of Windows 10 is not doubt intriguing lots of people. Surface go is nearly perfect to be a successful product, but sadly, it is not. I would never require this tiny device to run any high workload programs, and it did good to handle software like Microsoft Office and Edge. it is little bit hard to run Adobe Lightroom cause the zoom in and zoom out would be very unpleased. For webpage browsing and light office job, it is a good product. HOWEVER, the battery life is SO POOR, it only lasts ~4 to 5 hrs in my experience. It is HORRIBLE! Why Microsoft product can never match the battery life as the Apple product? And the bezzle is ugly, like product from 2 - 3 yrs ago. I would say, this original idea for producing this product is GREAT! Lots of people need such kind of thing which can do serious work (compare to iPad/iPad Pro). But this time, Microsoft failed us. Please, please, update this product to minimum battery life to ~ 8 hrs ( I mean in real life). That would be the best portable device for mobile work.

Love my Surface Go

We travel in an RV so I wanted it to be small but able to connect it to the TV in our RV to be able to stream Netflix, etc. SO easy to set up and use.

Good travel laptop

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First thing to do was remove the most annoying Windows 10 in S Mode which stops you from doing almost anything you want to do, like downloading word processing and spreadsheet programs. That done, the laptop works great and you can download programs and apps that you want. Nice neat size for traveling. I also bought a keyboard that magnetically clips to the laptop and provides additional protection for the screen.
