Don’t keep more than one app open at a time.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great build quality but for what was paid for this, you’re better off with an Apple product. Yes it has full windows, but if it is as slow as a snail it really doesn’t matter.

Happy customer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like it. Trying to figure it all out without directions. Pretty sure it can do a lot that I am completely unaware of. What I have figured out I really like and it does exactly what I was looking for.

Fantastic device
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fantastic device, I ended up returning it because I have giant hands so I had to get something bigger. I really liked how it can be disconnected from the keyboard entirely so I could use a windows machine on a tablet. Battery life is excellent but this will change depending on your specs

Microsoft is off base here.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is slow and has problems running programs and apps that have not been specifically designed for windows 11. So far windows 11 has not shown any benefit or improvement over windows 10. I chose this device because i purchased a surface pro 2 used some years ago. The only reasons for the upgrade were 1. Windows 10 expired and 2., memory storage was full. So far I dont like the software and the performance of the product is poor compaered to my 6 year old surface pro 2.

More flexibility than a traditional tablet
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tablet replacement if you need more functionality and do not want to be limited by a tablet os. I augmented my laptop and phone with this however just keep in mind that its not a replacement for either of those devices.

Great Laptop replacement
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tablet so far. No issues, wish it had an actual USB port instead have to use a Type C adapter and it sticks out. I connect it to a hub so it connects to additional monitors and that works well.

Stick with an iPad
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible. Ran updates after booting and during updates, ran into a no boot Blue screen of death. Trying to sort, but not even a reinstall of windows is working. Junk. Too bad Apple doesn't make a windows capable device.

Surface Go 3 + Windows 11= Good Tablet Experience
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Microsoft Surface Go 3 with the just released new Windows 11 make a surprisingly good team and add up to pretty good tablet overall. Note that the Go 3 is using Windows 11 in “S mode” which only allows the use of apps obtained from the Microsoft Store, so if you will need other apps you must switch to Windows 11 Home (or Windows 11 Pro at extra cost.) I plan to leave the Go in S mode, but the option will be available if my plans change. My initial impressions of the Go 3 are that it is a well made device and it arrived in perfect condition with no physical flaws that I can find. I like the size, weight and overall feel of the device. It powered on quickly and arrived with a 50% charge, and of course downloaded the latest updates and the initial set up was easy. In my use, which consists of web browsing, video watching, listening to music, browsing through my photos and other basic tasks I got about 5 hours of screen on time, with about 30 hours of stand-by (which caused a minimal power drain) before the device powered off. This is a below average battery life in my opinion, and is this device’s major drawback. Charge time from zero to full charge was about 2 1/2 hours using the included Microsoft Connect charger. The Go 3 is capable of charging via the USB C port, and I used a 45 watt charger and got a full charge in just over 2 hours. A zero to 50% charge took about 70 min versus 40 min with USB C charger. I would rate the screen as very good. It is bright, crisp and has good viewing angles. The dual front-firing speakers are very good as well. The inclusion of a headphone jack and Micro SD card slot, which are rapidly disappearing in most devices, is very much appreciated. As for general performance, the Go 3 is good, but slightly laggy, and jittery when browsing photos, or websites with a lot of photo content. I am not a gamer so I can’t really comment on that aspect. In summary I like the Surface Go 3 quite a lot and I think it is a capable tablet. If you are looking for a device to replace a laptop, I would recommend looking at the Surface Pro model, but if you want a good tablet experience, the Surface Go 3 is a fine choice.
