I wasn’t sure how I felt about a system needed a snap on keyboard but I am so glad i decided to go with this model. It has been perfect and wonderful. I didn’t expect so much from this but after being done with my iPad I wanted badly to get the newest system. Does not disappoint!

Awesome piece of hardware. Has a Samsung 12 Pro, loved it but fell off counter and broke. Replaced it with the Samsung Tap Pro S and was not satisfied at all with it. Im not a fan at all of the apple products. Thought I would try something different, and Im glad I did.....great machine.

Fast and light computer. Also the keyboard works very well, and worth the investment.

Microsoft hit the ball out of the park with the ultimate tablet/computer hybrid design on the Surface 3. Ever since that device, they have revised and improved with each iteration. This 5th generation surface (often called "The NEW Surface Pro" more correctly "The Surface Pro") is the ultimate culmination of those years of improvements and market shifting sales. I bought this after having owned a Surface RT, Surface 2, and Surface 3 (none of those were pro models). I've always liked the form factor and how the Windows environment felt on a tablet (Windows 8 was less than perfect, but I understood what the goal was, so I dealt with it). When I loaded Windows 10 on my Surface 3, I know it was about time for me to take the plunge and get that Surface Pro level of device. The Surface 3 has Intel's Atom processor which is a x64 bit mobile device processor that operates like a full PC processor, but slower (not nearly the processing heft that the Intel I-Series processors carry). When I finally decided this was the year I would buy a surface, I had to weigh my options of what I really wanted to do with this device. There were some tempting lower level Surface Pro devices (Intel i5 or the lighter duty Intel Core m) that would have saved a chunk of money. But I knew that I would be using this device to replace my heavier laptop, and would appreciate the extra computing power to power through heavy computational processes used by Ableton 9 recording software. So, for my purposes of a heavy workload, the 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage were optimal, especially when matched with the Intel i7 processor. The best thing about this is how speedy it is throughout the entire experience. Such a small form factor that punches way above its weight. If you're thinking about getting a Surface Pro, I would recommend taking a honest look at what you plan on doing with the device, and what you will actually do with it. You can save money and get a cheaper Surface if you are only scrolling facebook and watching Netflix/Hulu. But if you're doing anything in the Media industry (such as recording/editing music, video, pictures, etc) this is a good device for that. Last comment is how beautiful the screen is on this computer! Very good colors and clarity.

What can be said about the Surface pro that hasn't been shared in other articles, but the one thing I would like to stress is that if your going to purchase one, get the added drop protection, these babies are easily broken from a low drop or bump. Not tough at all in my opinion and I"m a very careful person with my devices. So trust my advise people or remember I told you so.

I have been checking out the surface since it was the RT. It has fully arrived to my intent and purpose. (on the i7 battery life could be a little better. It is actually about 7 hours of use). Everything else rocks but it is truly maximized with use of the pen.

Love the computer, switched from the mac. Need to start drawing more.

Love this Surface Pro. Wonderful startup. Wonderful screen though I wish it were a bit larger. I purchased this Surface for traveling and presentations. Also got SurfaceBook for use in house/conference room. Great combination. Would do it again.

It was easy purchase the store made. I asked for Best computer. Only had it 2 years, doesn’t turn on. No offer to refund, return or exchange. Very poor service. Do Not Buy a Surface Pro!!!!

I mainly wanted to purchase a tablet, then my mind switched to Surface , and I think I took the right decision with that. It is one of the best purchase I have ever made. Thanks to Microsoft for building such an awesome machine.

Needed a Windows system for work and it gives me all the tools I need to sync all work materials and some fun programs to tinker with during my time off. The adjustable screen is a big plus.

I like the size and touch features. Would like more apps

Was planning on getting a Mac for college and once I explored my options I figured out this was better for me. Note taking is amazing and is perfect for any student looking for a mac alternative.

I bought the Surface Pro to replace my iPad for work. I Love it!! It's luke having my office at my fingertips wherever I am. It weighs a little more than the iPad but I can get more work done with it.

The last laptop I bought was in 2008, needless to say this was a substantial upgrade. This thing is slim and powerful and has a ton of features I haven’t even gotten to yet...

The surface pro is a great computer / tablet. It completely met my expectations. The service professionals at Best Buy made the purchase decision easy.

This is my third Surface laptop and as with my others it has met all my expectations. I did purchase the keyboard and pen which have proved very use-full.

Tablet mode or PC mode, this machine is fantastic! I have 2 additional monitors and a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse for the office setting, AWESOME!

I was looking for a good Surface with a good price and someone told me about the Core i5... I don't see a big difference between Core i5 and Core i7

I love the fact that this computer can be used as a laptop or a tablet. I mostly use it as a laptop but have the availablity to use the tablet when I need to.
