Great to hear you are liking it so far. The amount of time your battery lasts will vary depending on the kinds of things you do with your Surface. On some Surface models, you can select a Power Mode, which affects how much battery life and the performance you can get from your Surface.
To switch to a different Power Mode, select the battery icon in the Windows taskbar. If you want to save power to write an email or finish a movie, move the slider to a lower setting, like Recommended or Battery saver. Or, if you need better performance for playing a game, move the slider to a higher setting like Best performance.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have my surface hooked up to the Microsoft dock (latest Gen) along with 2 samsung monitors via HDMI cables, keyboard, mouse and an iphone cable to charge my phone when im at my desk. Primary use is stock trading, multiple charts at once, youtube in the background, forums posting/streaming and netflix every other night. I had this through my last years of school in my backpack with the type cover. When my friends had their laptops out on the desk with no room for a book I was able to fit my book with this on my desk. Very user friendly, light on weight and small on size but packs alot of power. Performance is what you would expect from SSD drives and an i5 CPU, instant on and ready to roll, multitasking is nice with no lag in speed or performance you will only be limited to the battery if your not near a wall outlet. I have not had a problem with this computer coming from a macbook pro I knew what i wanted in terms of performance and quality, with the surface I get everything I need and more

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am shocked how terrible this tablet is. I was prepared for glitches. There always are. But the number of bugs I have to fix and research online is truly incredible. I use MS on a day to day basis in work and on my laptop. I also use an iPad and MacBook I am more efficient on MS though. That said, I will never buy another MS product for home use based on the frustration and waste of time I've had dealing with this product. Some of the glitches I've researched have been discussed in forums in 2015. So some of the solutions do not apply or function in updated models. But the same issues persist. The keyboard frequently freezes or will appear blank or just not at all. Multiple restarts correct it. Website pull down menus will not pull down on certain sites. Unresponsiveness is commonplace. The list of daily irritations are too numerous to list. This was supposed to be a replacement device for some old dinosaurs. But I still reach for a 10 year old T-Rex before this device. I've learnt my pricey lesson.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this computer for almost three months now, and I have had it crash multiple times running Microsoft Word, Excel, Chrome, Firefox, and Adobe Reader. It is rather annoying when you are only running Word and Firefox to have your computer crash on you multiple times. Disappointment and regret are the feelings I have towards this purchase. Should have stuck with Apple.
