Have to let the battery drain to nothing, fully recharge and then try again. Do not purchase for standard tablet use. Programs run, open, load slow like a desktop.

Not too impressed

I returned it within two weeks and they replaced it, but that didn't help. The wifi signal was never very strong, no matter where I was. It froze up and wouldn't come back on. It wouldn't download any apps. The pen was a nightmare to get synced with the surface. I had to take in to best buy and get them to do it, and even they didn't know how to make it work. I was told that there was a known problem with syncing the pen, but they didn't really have a fix yet. Maybe it works fine for some people but I need something reliable for college. I took it back and exchanged it for a MacBook.
