Computer stopped working out if nowhere, spoke to microsoft technicians and they couldn't help me. I'm outside of warranty so SOL. For what it's worth, it worked great when it was working.

I travel every week and I'm tired of carrying a laptop and a tablet. The Surface Pro 6 is a great compromise. It is large enough to see the screen when working, but small enough to use as a tablet on the plane. It is light and lightning fast. I needed something that was capable enough to run Office programs, but was still easy to travel with. This really fits the bill. They are pricey, but when you consider it's easy to spend $1,000 on a phone these days, I'd say it's not a bad value. Love it so far.

My wife uses it. I just use it every now and then.

The Surface is fine as a desktop machine but less than adequate as a laptop and not so good as a tablet. Being used to an Ipad the Surface tablet pales in comparison. Disappointed that none of the reviewers even hinted at these problems.

The keyboard sucks. Don't buy this as a laptop replacement. The surface book is worth the extra money if you plan to use this for more than media.

Returned the Microsoft Surface because the battery life was horrible. I purchased an iPad Pro and have been much happier.

This is first iPad purchased. Previous (decade old) laptop & programs came with written instructions for installing & using. I didn’t have advantage of growing up w/computers at school or home so looking up instructions while trying to learn becomes confusing & difficult. We did previously purchase an expensive tablet 5+ years ago & never figured out “charms”. Husband had Geek Squad out several times; they spent hour each time doing something then left saying “It’s ready to go.” No instructions, nada. Finally gave up on it; never used; use iPhone but felt lost without graphic art & photo editing capabilities for which I spent $1,000’s to use on old laptop but withup system upgrades I needed newer system. I miss developing projects for work & family. Written instructions & references were an invaluable asset for Print Shop, Publisher Pro, Access & others. So I am gradually figuring out steps but patience wearing thin, enthusiasm for new products waning & excitement becoming disappoint in myself & new products. I own multiple expensive printers sitting idle. How depressing to not have children or grandchildren to help 60 year old reasonably intelligent individuals comprehend.

The device performs more than enough for the average web surfer or student and even adds to that with high resolution (2k), great colors, and multi tasking ability. (60hz, Pixelsense) As expected, it is very portable and can be used touchscreen. However, the tablet mode needs obvious work and unless you are only using the web or touchscreen apps, a keyboard is needed. The speakers are good as well and the kickstand is great. The matte black finish feels it will easily scratch and by other reviews it is confirmed. Games will run okay but resolution needs to be lowered to 1080p first with settings low. Very little demanding games will run great. If you try to demand a lot, it will get hot as the i5 is fanless but it won’t explode. The price however gives terrible value and to get the best value, it needs to be discounted below 900$. Better a laptop than a tablet, a portable laptop. Pros? +Portable +Performance is decently good, not for high graphics or demanding games +Very good resolution +Great colors and speakers +Starts up fast and Windows Hello can do face recognition +MicroSD card slot +Good kickstand Cons? -Hot or warm as you demand from it, may affect the device if constantly heated negatively -Matte black could be easily scratched, shows fingerprints easily -Terrible price until discounted, more terrible when accessories are needed that are expensive -Tablet mode needs work -Limited port selection, no USB-C

I loved this labtop so much that I decided to return it and get the upgraded version soon. Very compact and preforms well.

Very pleased with my Surface until about 2 weeks after I purchased the touch screen quit working!

I have purchased several of these and never had a problem.

Gets hot n battery doesn't last long i don't recommend for those reasons
