Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Surface Pro 6's portability, lightweight design, and responsive touchscreen as significant advantages. Positive feedback also highlights its generally good performance and practical size, although some find the battery life could be better. However, a common concern is the product's cost, with some users also mentioning limitations in RAM and USB ports. The finish is another area where opinions are divided.

    Awesome

This surface pro 6 is awesome and even cooler in the black. It has such a high quality feel and look. I am 100% apple we used to be. I need something for back up and a windows alternative. Now I want to sell my MacBook Pro with Touch Bar for a surface laptop just because Microsoft is getting that good with quality. I had the iPad Pro and you can’t do anything without a work around for everything. Think about it... if you have a large file or like a word doc that exceeds the email size you have to airdrop it to another apple device or go through other memory steps that apple feel like they support sometimes and you have to go through all these hoops just for a word file. Windows I can do it in a snap and have no problems with flash drives, compatibility and I feel more confident my files are saved correctly. That’s why I would stay away from the iPad Pro until they put the same OS as a macbook.

    Nice Computer

I bought this computer with the intent to be able to do some work on my computer while on the road. I love the portability and ease of use but the battery life is not good. I only use it to surf the internet and use Adobe. I can easily charge it all day and once I remove the charger the battery is used up quickly so while portability is good it doesn't work that I have to connect it to the charger.

    Best Laptop yet

After ordering 2 Hp's and a Dell which were all defective I turned to the more expensive surface. My gosh was that extra hundred dollars worth it. The laptop works to perfection, and you can't beat a grand for such a great well built laptop. I'm hooked, I may be a surface user for life as I need reliable laptops to study finance. If your doubting whether to drop a grand on a laptop, this one is well worth that much

    Ok alternative to a laptop

Pros: Easy setup. Does pretty much everything a laptop can do and is easier to lug around. Good screen clarity/sharpness. Standard speaker is plenty loud. Powerful enough to open mutiple: apps, screens, surf the web, stream, playback, open programs, etc. Probably good enough for business oriented folks, students, and casual users. Cons: Comes with no extras (pen, keyboard, or case). All (except the case) are costly add-ons. No anti-spyware program included out of box (not even a trial). Or am I'm missing something??? Battery life (for my use - surfing web, streaming, games) is below average imo. Not sure if it's the way I have it configured or what, but its pretty much drained after a few hours. Touchscreen is responsive but not quite as fast as an iPad imo. Overall, for $1,100 bucks (with tax) I'm a little underwhelmed by what I received. Shouldn't be surprised by that - as Microsoft products aren't known for providing the end user with "value for their money". Probably could've bought a pretty solid laptop for the money, but wanted to go with the convenience of a tablet. I'm not totally dissapointed but not particularly satisfied either. I'd honestly give it 3.5 stars/5 but BestBuy doesnt allow half star ratings...

    Great Surface Pro

This is exactly what I wanted, and what everyone in school should have. The price is great with excellent functionality. Keep in mind that this does not come with Microsoft office, it is an additional cost.

This laptop allows me to do my homework like usual and also be able to take hand written notes in class. I can do pretty everything because of its 2 in 1.

We use the Surface Pro 6 for remote office operations. Has been surprisingly adaptable, reliable, and compatible with all our operations. Wouldn't pick any other tablet.

    Im done with Microsoft products

I just returned from Best Buy a couple of hours ago to pick up my Surface Pro 4 from Geek Squad. The cost of repair would exceed the value. This makes 2 Microsoft Surface devices that have just totally died. Won't turn on. They were lightly used, never dropped or abused in any way. I could understand bad luck if it happened once, but twice..... For two of the same typed of device to just die like that will keep me away from Microsoft devices forever now. A roughly $1600 lesson.

    Works great...until it stops working

Everything was going fine until my surface stopped connecting to the internet randomly...after dishing out $300 to Geek Squad and my surface still isn’t working- I’ve started looking for other options. Huge waste of money.

    Nice, but ....

It might just be mine, but the edges of the case around the speaker cutouts feel rough. It's very noticable whenever I run my thumb across the edge of the display while holding the tablet in my hands. Taking it in to Geek Squad to see if I need a replacement or if this is some sort of design flaw.
