While on the pricey side, if you value everything that you do on your desktop and want everything on your desktop to travel w you at the same power and speeds, the surface is your #1 device. Only con is the battery life is short.

Windows is back!

Windows 10 is a fantastic OS for desktop use but also has the flexability to be a tablet. I was really hoping the Pixel Slate would be good but reviews scared me to this. I'm really happy with the choice!

Great Laptop

But it does Excel at it :) really it’s great at multitasking, having plenty of tabs/programs open and not slowing down. Would probably okay with some light video editing. Looking for more than that? It’s not for you

Not necessarily sold on the new black finish

If you put the device in a carry bag without a case and you have a set of documents with a paperclip on them, the finish can be easily scratched. If I were to do it all over again, I would stick with the standard grey/silver finish because of its durability. Buy a sleeve/case if you plan on carrying it around extensively to protect the finish.

I am very excited to use it because I can write on it, take notes, draw, graph, etc. I do not have any issues with the fan. Everything is working great! Fantastic!
