Let me be clear: this is a very good laptop/tablet/computer. If you are considering buying one, I would certainly not dissuade you. However, just a few things to keep in mind. Though you are getting 16GB of RAM and i7 core processor, these components are not quite as fast as the same components in a full desktop computer. I do a lot of big data analytics with Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python....all watching TV on this surface. Can you do all this multitasking on this Surface Pro? Yes. However, I find it runs quite warm and the fan needs to begin spinning. It is not loud and you may not even notice it, but it is going. Also, if you are working with large Excel and CSV files and doing data analytics that require the power, this Surface will do the task but not quite as fast as your full-fledged desktop. So here is the bottom line: I think most people won't need the 16GB of RAM and the i7 processor, but if you do need AND space is a premium or portability is a must, then this Surface is for you. If you need to do a big data analytics and you need it done faster, you might be a bit disappointed with this Surface. What I am saying is that if you need power but you cannot have desktop or you need something like with great portability, you should certainly consider this machine. If you just surf the web, do FaceBook and type using Word, you don't need the power....but if you just want to have that power for the ego and you got the money, go for it!

Product is not what I expected fragile and not enough space on HDD need more USB ports.

Its portability, light weight and fast processor coupled with the great resolution has made the Surface Pro 6 my office away from the office and my home away from home! Literally, I take it everywhere I need to be productive and communicable!! ASWOME PRODUCT! I love it because it is so light and yet so powerful with its processor and have taken it many parts of the world and walked with it unnoticed tucked in my murse!!

I came from a MacBook Pro, and this is a breath of fresh air, especially since I travel every week. Windows 10 is amazing, and I am not having as hard of a time transitioning from MacOS to Windows as I had imagined. The one major flaw which ruins the experience for me is the lack of USB C. I honestly think Microsoft went in all greedy and decided to delay the USB C port until the next iteration, which is slimy. Outside that, I am thoroughly enjoying the Surface Pro 6.
