My new Surface pro 6 worked great for 1 week. After getting it all set up for my use I went to shut it off and it asked me if I wanted to update and shut down. I said yes. The next morning I got a blue screen with a frown face and a failure to boot message. I tried restoring the computer to before the update but the ignorant automatic repair program kept interrupting. Finally all I could get was a black screen with the Windows logo and nothing else. I took it into the Geek Squad in the Edwardsville store after calling. They said on the phone and concurred at the store that Windows operating system was probably corrupt and they would have to reinstall it. That made sense so I left it with them to repair under the factory warranty. No sooner had I got back from the store than I received a good news bad news phone call stating that it was a hardware failure they could not repair but I could return it since I purchased it so close to the Holidays. I asked if there was a way they could erase my personal information from it and they said no. This makes me very nervous. I have an appointment to pick it up and take it to customer service to return it on Monday.

My husband has enjoyed his laptop but after 3 years it's charging cord doesn't work. To purchase a new one it's 78.00. I am disappointed that a cord would go bad. We looked up this issue and it seems like it is a common problem for other people as well. I hope they have addressed this issue with the newer version.

I pre ordered this in the black. The black is so stunning! Anyhow the battery life exceeds my expectations. It's fast, lightweight and responsive. The keyboard is one of the best that I have used on a laptop. I have tons of programs running and internet tabs open all the time and this thing runs cool and quick. The charging cable is so nice. and I love how the pen attached to the screen! I really love this purchase and feel very satisfied. I recommend it to all my fellow nursing students! No buyers remorse here which I can't say the same for the last 3 laptops I purchased and returned! Including the HP Spectre X360 and a Lenovo yoga.

My Best Buy order came defective. It wouldn’t turn on returned it for a mac

problem appeared since the first three month, and I was advised by the engineer at the store to wait to send the device until the end of the year.

Great laptop! Awesome for traveling and transferring pictures on the go.

Love it. Compact and fast!! The keyboard is great as well. Nice and easy to use!!!

It's worked well for me since I bought it for school, I do wish that there was a way to have the screen repaired but otherwise I enjoy this for many many things outside of school also

Bought this computer 6 months ago, the charger broke within a month. The screen has now cracked and is not under the 1 year warranty.... garbage.

Bought this pro6 from Best Buy new and it does not hold up to the battery life as said.best buy told me to contact factory.not happy with product.spend a lot of money for this.NOT HAPPY.
