Very disappointing that the black paint started to chip a week after I purchased, unacceptable for this price point. The power cord is short and only being able to charge on one side limits functionality. Surfing the internet usually takes up 30%-40% RAM no matter what you do! So expect to always be running at about 60% of your 8GB memory. For the most part I haven't had any issues and the devices performs really well. It only has gotten hot once while doing a system refresh. The device is really beautiful, Very responsive, fast, and lightweight. Not sure if its worth the money at its current price point sense the only thing that has changed is the fact they added a year old processor and turned it black. Easily a 4 or 5 star device if the paint did not chip so easily. If anything changes after a few more months of use, I will update my post.

Just getting a chance to learn this new tablet. The size is perfect as well as the weight. This will be used more mobility due to the fact that it weighs less that 1.5 pounds. The touch screen is very responsive to the touch. The clarity is so much better that what I was using. Happy that I was able to get on sale.

Small, powerful and light. easy to carry and perform both school work as well as business work. lots of capabilities with this computer. Expensive but excellent computer

This piece of equipment is so light weight and easily to use and take anywhere. I love it’s simple design and versatility. I highly recommend it.

This was purchased for my brother who makes music. he was previously using a powerful but bulky laptop. he wanted to be able to edit his music throughout the house not just the studio. The Surface was perfect for this as its very lightweight. On top of that it handled all his softwares without issue. it boots quickly and uses facial recognition to unlock so all you have to do is press the unlock button and it will open up when it sees you. the biggest down side is the fact that there is only one usb and a mini hdmi port which will leave most needing adapters. There are plenty of adapters for additional usb ports we found a very thin one that added five additional slots it had a swivel and hung on the side of the surface with ease. these issues are obviously due to the surface being so thin and powerful. A sacrifice we gladly made. For a time i was using the surface for graphic designing it does fine but its not as good as my dedicated drawing tablet attached to my desktop. i'd suggest getting a specialized drawing tablet for that. ultimately its an amazing piece of technology aside from its touch features its far superior to an ipad pro due to it running actual desktop programs and not mobile versions of said programs. After a year of use it has not run into any issues.

Although quite pricey I am glad I purchased the Surface Pro 6. Push the power button and you're pretty much ready to go! It is lightning fast and so far I have found it does anything a laptop can do. One of my biggest reasons I chose the Surface Pro is because of the USB port. Being that all my business is done while traveling this is a convenient feature for using with an external drive etc. The product is light and convenient. Love it!

I have had three generations of the surface. Super fast, light weight, and great for travel.

This in my opinion is the best computer/tablet combo. Very ideal for traveling. Light weight and amazing new look with the black model. No complaints at all. Pen works perfectly, not sure but I hope it has a mic. Would be a plus if pen and keyboard were included. Either way not as pricey as competitors so no problem.

I bought this for my 16 yr old to use as a lightweight laptop in high school, and as a tablet that she can write on when she goes to college. She really likes the quality, look, and feel of the computer, and how easy it is to use.

It's so convenient to take everywhere, so lightweight that I can have it on my shoulder bag and not worrying of shoulder pain. User friendly, it didn't take me long time to learn how it works. So quiet, no annoying wiggly sound.

An amazing machine. I purchased for work. I travel extensively and fits well on airplane tray. It’s compact and light. It stows well. And with docking port it acts like a full powered laptop

When I looked for the new Samsung notebook and saw this new Microsoft surface Pro 6 and i tried for some moments, never thought it can be that fast. Very much impressed. light and fast.
