Hoping they fix this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to get my new Surface Pro 6. Out of the box, it fired up as I expected. But its been probably the most problematic computer I have owned, and I have a Lenovo laptop with major screen flicker. The face recognition fails frequently, I have had several times when the computer would not go to sleep, and some mouse selection issues. It mostly feels like software stuff, but given that the hardware and software are both Microsoft I'm surprised the experience has been this wonky. Not returning it, not sad I bought it, just hoping that a patch corrects these issues in the near future because I shouldn't be spending my time hunting down fixes for a new computer.

It’s a Pear
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only issue is that I am so in the apple ecosystem that little nuances just disrupted the “out of box’ experience that I was attempting to have. With a bit more build quality and a few more tweaks maybe. But til then, it’s ipad Pro 9.7

Seems good but very expensive.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems good but very expensive. I ended up returning it. For the price of surface pro6, I could get a Lenovo that feels more durable and more connectivity ports.

Surface Pro i5 VS i7
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is a bit more technical. I've always been power hungry user, my PC is I7, 64GB RAM, SSD, RTX, etc. But when I wanted to buy a hybrid laptop, I got this one instead(i5/128gb)! Why? 1. FANLESS I5 is a fanless system (Unlike i7), so you won't have to deal with: (A) Noise (i7 is louder, you can hear the fan from a couple of feet away!). (B) Dirt in the chassis (when fan kicks in to cool down the cpu) (C) Heating, specially when you put it inside a protective case (I recommend Urban Armor Gear). 2. BATTERY LIFE I5 has better battery life since it is a fanless system and has lower turbo frequency, base frequency is similar to the i7 model. 3. ENOUGH POWER I5 has plenty of power to do what a hybrid laptop is designed to do! I7 has more cache and higher turbo frequency. Therefore, It is more targeted to the professional crowd (video/photo editors, developers, gamers). If you are one of those, I think you'll find better options out there than the Surface Pro i7. 4. NOT A GAMING MACHINE I7 model comes with Intel Iris Plus 640, vs Intel HD 620 for the i5 model. Graphics performance is much higher on the i7 model, but again, it is not as powerful as a discrete GPU that justify the price hike. Iris Plus 640 will allow you to play some games, not heavy ones, and definitely this is not a true gaming machine. 5. PRICE IS RIGHT Obviously, the i7 model is way more expensive than i5. You'll save significant amounts of money going with i5. 6. EXPANDABLE STORAGE The 128GB storage is enough in my opinion. You can buy a 256GB MicroSD to expand your storage which is still cheaper than the i5/256Gb option. Just let the system and apps run on the built-in SSD, and your files on the MicroSD card. Hope this helps.

The worst
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is the worst. Do not get it. It comes apart and will inevitably fall on the ground and the screen will break. It’s not easy to travel with as advertised because you can’t sit with it—it’s not a sturdy laptop that will sit easily in your lap. It’s flimsy. I got it thinking it wasn’t worth it to splurge on a laptop for more money because all I do is use the internet and write papers. I was wrong.

Surface Pro Way To Go!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Surface Pro 6 for over three years and I have no complaints. I chose to buy one because I wanted something lighter than my laptop. The SP6 is light and easy to navigate. Even though it is a tablet you do not lose out on anything you would do with a laptop. The only issues I have is with too many downloads and not enough storage space, which has nothing to do with the product.

Charge for this product I did not buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Best Buy account shows that I made a purchase of this Surface with all the accessories. This must be identity theft. I will dispute this right now...

Nice little computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this little computer because it is lightweight and easy to use on my lap. The downside I have is the battery does not seem to last very long. If I leave it for a few days (turned off) and come back I have to be sure the cable is close by because the battery will be dead soon.

Microsoft Surface Pro 6
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would suggest getting one with larger memory. Applications and documents fill most of the space, Use onedrive for most files. Have nt been able to do he windows 11 update due to low disk space and this version is not expandable.
