Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.for some reason, if it's plugged in it refuses to sleep or even hibernate, it immediately wakes back up. I've disabled every device as being able to wake it and turned off wake timers but nothing. it also has a weird issue where the display would freeze occasionally but I was able to fix that by downloading an Intel graphics utility and turning off some power saving setting

I’ve been watching this product for about a year, just waiting for the right time to purchase. I’m not an electronic wizard, however it’s perfect for what I needed. Setup is extremely easy, and if I have a question the Microsoft team is readily available to assist.

Her old HP had a cracked screen, but still worked, was as slow as a, well whatever, etc. The Microsoft Surface was just the right answer! Santa brought it for her and she absolutely loves it. It's very light in weight, compact in design, excellent quality screen resolution, and on and on.
