Customers are saying

Customers highly value the Surface Pro 9's ease of use, performance, and long battery life, frequently praising its lightweight design and convenient size. Many appreciate the included keyboard and crisp display, though some find the lack of a headphone jack and limited ports to be drawbacks. A few customers also mentioned concerns about the camera quality and the device's price point. Overall, the positive feedback on usability and performance outweighs the negative comments regarding specific features.

This is my first surface pro. It does everything i need it to and is quick to turn on. I am an attorney and need something fast and reliable and so far this delivers. The keyboard and pen add on is definitely a must!

Unfortunately after owning for only 5 months it developed a pixel burn spot on the bottom left. I don't run any heavy programs nor do I keep brightness at full intensity. Second surface pro 9 to do this so seems like a manufacturing error.

Be aware that if you get locked out of your laptop that the Best Buy geek squad will not help you unlock it! I had to buy a new one and I have deep regret. Going back to Apple.

I owned the first generation of the Surface line and what drew me to it was the adjustable built-in kickstand and the 2-in-1 capabilities. The kickstand adjusts the viewing angle from almost upright to almost flat on the surface. I am an Apple user and in my opinion, no Mac can beat the flexibility of the Surface product line. I have been using my iPad Pro to take notes on my meetings and this Surface will definitely be replacing it because I can use the full versions of applications. The Windows logo pops up as soon as the power button is pressed and off it goes with the boot process. With facial recognition enabled, you can get to the desktop in about 10-12 seconds. It really helps when you have to quickly reply to an email. This thing is light and ultra thin in comparison to the first gen. It is built solid with rounded aluminum casing and a smooth Gorilla Glass 5 for the screen. It has two Thunderbolt 4 ports on the left side that can be used for connecting external monitors, storage device or other USB-C/Thunderbolt devices. It can also be used to charge the machine. The power button and the volume control Is on the top left. Two 2W speakers are cut out from the glass on the top left and right and they support Dolby Atmos. The speakers are not meant to blast you away but they sound clear with music and with the dual far field studio microphones, makes Teams meetings somewhat more enjoyable, if that’s even possible. With the 2880 X 1920 (267 PPI) touchscreen with Dolby Vision IQ™ support, it’s good enough to watch movies like Top Gun Maverick on it too. The touchscreen is very precise and responsive. The top and bottom bezel is a bit thick though. If you don’t plan on buying an external keyboard, it does have a full-sized onscreen keyboard that you can use. I paired this with the Surface Pro Signature keyboard and slim pen. In my opinion, the Apple Pencil with the iPad Pro is more precise than the Slim Pen and Microsoft Ink. I haven’t had this long enough to really take note on the battery life which is supposed to be 15.5 hours but I have had no problems working with it throughout my 8-10 hour work day and be able to do more when I get home. So more than I need it for. I just upgraded my home wi-fi to the Wi-Fi 6E technology and I am glad that this Surface supports it. It also supports Bluetooth 5.1. Other ports is for the charger which I think could have been designed a lot better. It connects magnetically but it still requires guidance to get it properly in the slot. It is located on the top right side of the device so when you’re charging it, the cable runs down the side. Maybe having it on the lower back side might have been better. The bottom side has the type cover port. It comes with Windows 11 Home and I like better than the previous versions, 10, 9 & 8. The User Interface is clean looking. However, I still hate the Windows update. It still bugs me with their frequent required restarts. Notes: - Gets a bit warm while on charger even when just doing simple tasks - Intel version does not have the 5G mobile broadband and some of the camera tricks like zoom and pan - NO SD card slot. - Keyboard and pen sold separately - Annoying power brick

Only had the device for 2 weeks so I didnt have time to play around with it. Unfortunately I had to return it twice due to a manufacturing defective battery. I did enjoy it for the time I had it.

For the price this is a very convenient pc/surface to have. This is my 3'd surface and it always delights. Small easy to use, and does the job on windows.
