The pen has a drag feel to it. Not a good product. Windows 11 is a pain. I got a kindle scribe and a MacBook instead.

Every is good but only issue I have with this is technical issue I only had it for 4 month

Having owned a couple of Microsoft Surface products in the past, I kind of knew what this item would be like, but, after using it for a week, I have been pleasantly surprised at how its more like a "laptop" than it is a "tablet" Starting it up, I was greeted by the familiar windows screens, and, I dont recall my previous Surface Products actually having a "normal" version of windows on them... I didnt think that these things were powerful enough to run a "real" OS on them, but this thing is definately the exception to that rule! Screens change smoothly, apps load reasonably fast and work as expected, and, setting up things like network access, printer useage, office apps, multiple web browsers, all went as smooth as they would have on a similarly priced full blown laptop. Sure, there arent alot of I/O options here, and you will need a usb c hub to easily connect alot of the peripherals you might want to use with it, but, when used with the optional keyboard/pen combo that Microsoft offers, this is a surprising able device. The charger is kind of weird, but all Surfaces have used this type of charger, but the display is bright and clear, the touch screen is responsive, and, if you dont like the weight of most laptops, and you dont need a super powerful machine for your traveling workspace, the surface may be the perfect laptop replacement for you. Just make sure you grab the optional keyboard/pen combo to make your useage alot more enjoyable!

Don't do Expedited Shipping.....Recently purchased this along with keyboard because of the sale paid the extra money for the overnight shipping and now it is Delayed by 3 days and won't get here in time for what I needed it for.....Bestbuy used to be the Cat's Meow with stuff but seems as of late they are slowly becoming the ValueMart compared to Amazon

I always wanted a surface pro, it mixes the best of both worlds.

My tablet is over 4 years old, and I was looking to replace it with an upgrade. What I like about the tablet is they are lightweight and very portable; they use a stylus and have a touchscreen. What attracts me to a laptop is the PC operating system, keyboard for typing, and ports to connect to other peripherals. After looking around, I decided to go with the Surface Pro 9 as it is a hybrid laptop with a removable keyboard. I picked the Sapphire which is a pearlescent blue. I like the splash of color versus the “all too common” silver. The kickstand is very supportive, and the angle is easily adjustable for personal preference. The grooves on the side help to open it. While it is not as lightweight as a tablet, it weighs less than 2 pounds (without the keyboard). A 13” screen is ample to watch videos and work with files. The battery life is an improvement on my tablet. It means I can watch several movies on a long flight and not have to find an outlet to recharge in the airport for a layover. The on button and volume is conveniently located on the top. The bevels are thin making the screen large. The picture is clear, the colors vivid, and the sound is good. There are two UBC-C ports. Like many laptops, many ports have been eliminated from the design. I have two ports I use so I can connect to an HDMI cable or need a USB-A ports. I will be honest that I was extremely disappointed when I realized the Surface Pro 9 did not come with a headphone jack. I have a Bluetooth headphones and earbuds. But when I travel with my husband, we use a splitter cable and we both plug in so we can enjoy watching the same movie together. I also wanted to plug in a sound mixer for the virtual bike classes I teach. After looking into how to resolve this, I found I can purchase the Microsoft Surface dock for $250+. If you ask me, that is a hefty price to pay just to have an audio jack. On the other hand, the Signature Keyboard with Slim Pen 2 is a worthwhile accessory to purchase as is the sleeve case to protect the Surface Pro 9.

DO NOT BUY. Google light spot on surface pro. Seriously just google it. There are soooo many forums and complaints on light spot damages that aren't even cause by the user. I've probably logged less than 20 hours on my laptop. Always closed in a case, but here I am with a damaged product ive barely used.

I would give this 5 stars if microsoft included the keyboard. Great device. I have had the 4,5 and 7.

Bought "refurbished", the screen is half dim & has a yellow tint too. I don't think I'll ever purchase from best buy again & definitely wouldn't recommend.

This Surface is one of several Surface-line products that I have used over the years. I feel like they really do represent the best Windows experience: much like Pixel android phones or Apple products -- software and hardware feel like they work in sync. This one is in an emerald metallic green which is a great variation from the somewhere between silver and black that most laptops come in: Space Gray need not apply. This Surface Pro 9 features enough power for light gaming, ample battery life for longer zoom meetings with great microphone and audio to make those long meetings just a little easier. While often repeated it is true: I do wish that MS would include the keyboard and pen with the tablet as it is barely usable without them -- Windows is just not as much a tablet experience as a touch with keyboard. I use Surface both at work and for play: I wish this could be my corporate device as I can do more with it with a better battery life and greater portability than my work issued Surface Laptop.
