    had to change keyboards twice because of the connection and now nothing will work because as the geek squad told me the connection is "corroded" - so buy an entire new device or use usb keyboard which i don't want. two years old and toast

    I recently snagged a great deal on an open-box Surface Pro 9, and while the size and screen quality are top-notch, the positives unfortunately end there. During the initial setup and update installation, the device became so hot that it was uncomfortable to hold. Because of this, I decided to return it and will wait for a price drop before considering another purchase. It's a shame because the Surface Pro 9 has a lot of potential, but the overheating issue is a dealbreaker for me.

    I bought this new surface because my previous one stopped working after exactly 2 years of use on the day the warranty expired. It asked for an update, and it just stopped working. No one was able to get it working again. So, I bought this new one. Let's see if in two years we will be asked for an update again that will make it stop working too.
