The Surface Pro 11 is another strong entry with one caveat - be very careful to ensure that all the software you rely one on the ARM64 platform of the Snapdragon Elite. I was unpleasantly surprised to find that both Nord VPN and Google Drive for the desktop don't run on the platform. Nord is working on a native ARM64 solution but amazingly, Google has stated that they don't intend to support the ARM64 platform for Google Drive ever. There are also other applications that fail, but thankfully none that are mission critical for me. Outside of this issue, I am extremely happy with my new device.

Didn't seem faster and some of my software (MS SQL Server) was not compatible with the Snapdragon chip. System factory reset wouldn't work. Returned the unit.

New laptop

This is the 3rd surface I have owned for both work and home use. I have not found them to go obsolete, I simply pass them down to my children for school. The surface is very responsive and extremely reliable for day in and day out use.
