Customers frequently mention the Surface Pro's ease of use, touchscreen functionality, and lightweight design as significant advantages. Its portability and decent battery life are also frequently praised. However, some users express concerns about the limited RAM in the base model. A few also find the kickstand design to be less than ideal.

Overall I really like this Surface Pro. It is so sleek. And the picture quality is excellent.
I have only one complaint, and that is how the screen stands up. There's a little flap on the back so if I'm at a desk or a table, there's no problem with monitor in an upright position. But I do a lot of computer work on my bed with the computer/notebook resting on my belly. I got a bed tray which helps, but with my vision, I still need to pull the screen closer to me than the tray will allow. See, my last notebook had a monitor that stood on it's own. It didn't need a stand behind it. I miss that.

As a graducation gift, we bought our grand daughter a Microsoft Surface Pro. We waited for the July 4th sales n bought at a very good price. Our grand daughter reports how awesome her computer works. She delighted to have the geek squad available if she has any problems with her computer. Her 1st year of college starts this fall n its reassuring to us that shes has a reliable computer that will help with her studies. The staff at Best Buy were awesome in assisting us in choosing this computer for our grand daughter!

Interface runs smoothly. Great computer for notes especially for students. Switching from computer and tablet is easy. A small enough computer to carry around with ease and is good for traveling. Can fit anywhere and not take up a lot of space.

I bought this Surface computer for when I'm just sitting around the house. But it proves far more capable and is now my go-to computer for all computing needs. It is easy to set up, easy to use, and lasts a long time between charges. Highly recommend.

If you want an easy to use Tablet, try any of the Best Buy brands. It's so easy to use. Even a senior adult can start using it. Try it for finances, email, so small and light that it's great to take on the airplane.

I've had my Surface for a few months now and I can say it is a great portable tablet/laptop, but it really hasn't met my expectations. The build quality is great and so far, I haven't had an issue with the battery dying quickly as some other users have.
The biggest complaint I have is the lack of performance. I know, it was the cheapest surface pro at the time but 4GB of RAM on Windows 10 is pretty unrealistic, as well as the core M3 processor. About the only benefit you would have from the core M3 is 'maybe' a small amount of extended battery life. The main tasks I perform with this Surface is a little schoolwork and web browsing which sometimes it struggles with. I noticed at times it starts to get very laggy and after opening task manager, the memory (RAM) is nearly 100% utilized.
Other than the annoyingly bad performance, it is a nice super-portable PC. The build is very solid and is even better when it is protected in a case with a glass screen protector.
This Surface doesn't come with a pen, but I opted for the Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus when I purchased the Surface. This is my first device that supports active pens and I was blown away by how well note-taking can be. It's almost the same as writing on paper. I know people recommend the Surface Pen, but I was completely satisfied with the Bamboo Ink for a lot lower price.
Overall, I do like my Surface, but I don't think I would recommend this particular model to someone. If it can't perform web browsing and note taking seamlessly, it's not that great. I do plan on selling this one soon and upgrading to a Surface 7. You can spend just a little more and get at least an i5 processor with 8GB of memory.

I love that this laptop is so slim so you can take it with you on the go for everyday use. I purchased it for my daughter to take with her to school and love that she can take notes right onto the computer without typing.

What else can I say! This is a Surface Pro with Keyboard. Must be a new models coming out because I grabbed this deal with the quickness! Performs as expected, fast boots, light, clear display. I bought a "Surface Go" a few months ago, and this was actually the same price with included keyboard so I jumped on it! Upgraded the Windows 10 edition to Professional, and the performance was still awesome,
This is an awesome tablet/laptop - No complaints.

Absolutely the versatility this device gives me, I use it as a laptop for work, then transform it into a tablet for proposal presentations. Works great as a device for my daughter to watch her YouTube videos as well.
The keyboard is comfortable to use and serves as a cover for the screen when not being used.
My only grip is the OS can be a little sluggish from time to time, which is why I converted to Apple several years back, but it’s not such a problem that it’s more than just occasionally frustrating.
Overall review: love it, it’s functional in multiple scenarios, and a very clean design all around. If you can catch it while it’s on sale it’s a tremendous value.

Must have item for kids transitioning from iPad. iPads are simply not well enough equipped for all a student’s needs. Bought for my daughter who was intimidated by laptops as she’s more accustomed to iPads. She uses it for school and absolutely loves it. I also like the fact that this version uses a pencil with AAA batteries. I’ve had to pay Apple for a “battery service” on Apple Pencil because it stopped charging. That will never be an issue here. I’m surprised at how these things hold their value. Prices haven’t changed much even though there’s newer models available.

I have a main computer that I use for video editing and heavy multi-tasking, but need a tablet that would run office, let me stream movies and let me read books with ease. Some of the reviews I read online said that this device would lag when streaming, and glitch with multiple tabs open, but I have not found that to be true. I'm currently writing this review with 9 tabs and five other programs open - one of them playing a video - an am not experiencing any lagging. I love this little machine for what I ask of it. Definitely not for any major photo editing and definitely no video editing and/or gaming.

My son loves this computer. It was purchased for school use (age 13). And even though he was slightly concerned that he wouldn't be able to play games on it since it's not a gaming computer, it works fine for most of his gaming needs as well. So lightweight, it's great for carrying in his back pack.

Surface Pro has been very helpful at my conferences. Small enough to fit on the table but large enough to read. Easily to manage and store away when not in use. I would recommend this item to a friend. Keyboard is big enough to type. Touch screen is very helpful.
