Cant really say anything bad about this product, in order to to really enjoy your gaming you must have unlimited access with an online membership and 2yrs is a great price for this card and well worth it

While I wish that my son didn't play video games so much, it's certainly what boys his age seem to do. The bonus of an Xbox Live membership is that he can play with his friends online. This is a must have for any and all xbox players with games that have online multiplayer functionality. I have made friends from all over the United States via xbox live, and even some globally. If you're using this for small kids, I would definitely suggest you monitor who they're playing with, as there are lots of adults online who will use foul language. They can play online without the use of microphones if you are worried about this. Also, if you do let them use a mic, and this could very well apply to adults as well, make sure you are not breathing into the mic and everyone on the other end thinks you're going through a really bad windstorm. It's so annoying.

If your kids or family are going to play online with other xBox gamers they will need to have an XBOX Gold subscription. You can get them in 3 month or 12 month subscriptions. I usually buy four, 3 month subscription cards when they are on sale at Christmas and then give them out as presents at birthday, Easter, or as a special surprise for a job well done.

I purchased this card for half the price that buying in a store would be.It was just as a gift for a few months until the person that I bought it for could get their membership.
