Wow. Great sound + $100 = Great value!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow just wow. I was using a older Tritton headset that is really the only truly wireless headset for the 360 though. It was nice but couldn’t use it on the Xbox one and a mic unless the audio went through to speakers only(optical audio) and using a plug in microphone to the controller. It worked but after an update on war zone the chat audio was bugged and would only go through the controller when you plugged in a mic. Now to this headset, I’ve been wanting it since it was released and sold out :( . I finally saw it available through Best Buy online and grabbed it. First time using it I was in awe it sounded so great I could hear footsteps in war zone like I have never heard it before. Oh what’s that is someone trying to sneak up behind me, dead. After a few games I started playing around with the Bluetooth and synced it to my phone and was overjoyed when I noticed my music and game audio would play at the same time. The only con to this is you can’t control the music/Bluetooth audio from the headset but nothing a little volume button on your phone couldn’t do. Also you can’t activate Siri with the headset. But really this is a gaming headset not a phone headset, using your phone is just a sweet bonus. Also I am happy to add that since it has Bluetooth connectivity it will work with pc and ....maybe PlayStation. At $100 this might just be the greatest value headset. So to sum it all up -Great sound. Check! -Easy to use. Check! -Rechargable battery. Check! -Decent battery life. Check! -Great price. Check! -Clear mic. Check! -Completely wireless. Check! I urge someone to find a better headset at this price

Few minor inconveniences with this headset
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using the headset for a couple of weeks, I have a couple minor complaints about it. The outside dial of each ear-cup adjusts. The right side is for volume, and the left side adjusts game audio versus chat audio. I love that the headset allows me to adjust each easily. My complaint is that the dials have a tendency to get bumped easily whenever I take the headset off. There have been several times I've almost broken an eardrum after removing the headset and putting it back on because the volume was turned up so loud. Another complaint about volume is that there is a very slight lag when I turn the volume dial to when the game volume is adjusted. This took some getting used to. When I first bought the headset, I would overcorrect multiple times when trying to get the game volume just right. Another minor complaint is that I cannot easily adjust the headset fit while I'm wearing it. I have to take it off, make a minor change, put it back on and see whether it fits better or if more changes are needed. I also wish the mic could be completely removed (rather than simply "stowed / retracted into the earcup". Some of the things I really like about the headset: Its wireless! No more yanking my headset off by accidentally catching the cable on something. Great sound and Dolby Atmos capable! I can connect to multiple sources at once (play a game and listen to music at the same time). The headset can be charged while using them (effectively making them a wired headset temporarily). The price point for this headset compared to others is fantastic.

Trash...
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset was trash for me. I kept it updated, but it still was disconnecting from my Xbox. This was my second one also. The last straw was my boy couldn't hear me, but I could hear him. Also it was saying on my Xbox that I wasn't connected but the light was lit on the headset mic.

LOOKING GOOD!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the Xbox Wireless Headset for a few weeks now, and I have to say I'm impressed. It's a sleek and comfortable headset that delivers great sound quality and features for a reasonable price. It connects wirelessly to my Xbox Series X without any hassle, and it also supports Bluetooth for pairing with my phone or PC. The earcup dials are a genius idea, letting me adjust the volume and game/chat balance with a simple twist. The microphone is decent, too, and it has auto-mute to block out background noise when I'm not talking. The battery life could be better, but it's not a deal-breaker. Overall, I think this headset is a great choice for Xbox gamers who want a wireless headset that works well and looks good.

Best headset I have owned
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Xbox headset I have owned. Really easy to use. Comes with a USB cord that I plug into the front of the Xbox and that’s how it charges. Can last multiple days without charging. Feels great on your head. To adjust volume you turn the dial on the side. Audio is clear and friends don’t complain of an echo. Bluetooth is awesome. Connects super easy. To mute, there’s a little button on the mic that takes one press. Rarely the audio gets stuck where nothing will adjust, but if you turn them off and back on again it fixes itself. Will definitely get another pair if mine ever break.

Great for its price tag
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I presently own Turtle beach 700 and 600 Generation 2 for myself and my gaming kids. I purchased the Astro A20 so I was able to purchase a doggle (I believe it was called) so my son can use it on both Series X and PS5. After a few uses (less the a handful) the Astro headset no longer hold a charge... My son doesn't like the PS5 so he asked me to get him a xbox headset only instead... these were new and seemed easy to use like the turtle beaches not needing anything for it to connect to xbox directly... Very happy with my purchase my daughter is now the proud owner of them (son got the turtle beach 600) and she loves it... when she not using I am... there very confinable long hours. Hold a long charge as well... like the idea of adjusting the volume by simply turn the ear bud itself (Genius). I was already use to blue tooth connection through my turtle beach 700 but they sound slightly better then the turtles when it come to music. Would recommend getting one great for its competitive priced headset out there... One thing though u may sweat a lot wearing them I know I did.

Good Value
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had many sets of headphones over the years, and I feel that these are priced adequately for what you're getting. I'm older; I mainly play single player games and stream movies and shows, so idk how well the mic works. The good: they're pretty comfy, don't run hot, the slide adjustment only moves if they're off of your head, they don't look like they were made for a 13 year old, the battery lasts me around 8 hours, easy volume and mic control, the mic light can be turned off, the eq is fairly robust, it connects quickly and they're bass heavy, which I prefer. The downsides: sound clips and cuts out here and there, little bit of sound delay, no bass adjustment on the headset, can't turn it on without turning on the series x and where's the charging stand? Overall, I love them. I have a bangin 1200 watt rms 9.2 atmos setup but I keep playing with these. Go figure

Solid headphones for a solid price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: + Price + Comfort + True wireless to Xbox consoles (no adapters needed) + Ease of connectivity + Ease of use + Good battery life Cons: - Microphone quality - Microphone placement - Can be a little strong in the bass Compared to the alternatives out there, these headphones are quite solid for the price point. They are not going to blow away any audiophiles, but for $100, they more than hold their own in the wireless gaming headset market for Xbox consoles. There are very few headphones that connect directly to the Xbox without the use of adapters. This headset does just that and can be paired to a specific user from within the Xbox interface. They are not the most comfortable gaming headset on the market, but they are plenty comfortable for the standard user. Keep in mind, however, that larger heads might find these a little pressing and tight around the ears. Volume control is on the right ear, with the left ear for controlling volume to voice chat preferences, both of which are nice for ease of use. Additionally, the battery life on these headphones are, in my opinion, above average. That could be due to simplicity of the design (i.e. not a bevy of extra functions/features or LED lights), or that Microsoft just figured out batteries. I've used these headphones for a good ten to twelve hours between gaming and streaming without any hiccups, but I do not know the full range of usage before the battery requires recharging. The major complaint I have with this headset is the microphone, hence the knock down of a star. While serviceable, it does come across a little quiet in voice chat, so I feel like I have to talk uncommonly loud for friends to hear me adequately when in use. The placement may be the cause as it a short boom that typically hovers over the user's cheek depending on head size and shape. The simplicity of the boom is sleek and streamlined in appearance, but the shorter boom does seem to affect the quality of the mic. The one LED light on headset sits at the end of the boom and lets the user know when the mic is active versus on mute, but the placement also makes it more difficult to verify the mic's status while wearing the headset. Bottom line, if you have a limited budget or just do not care to spend more than $100, I do highly recommend this headset. For audiophiles, there are better options, but I still do recommend giving these a shot for use in more casual situations.

Perfect for series x/s
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When i first got my series x I bought a more expensive Steelseries Arctis 9X headset. It was nice, super confortable but the microphone was terrible according to my friends and it would constantly disconnect. I switched to the xbox headset as soon as it came out. Connection is better, microphone is loads better and it’s comfortable enough. Not as comfortable as the 9X but better its also half the price. It also connects to your phone and the volume knobs are super intuitive. Great buy if you’re on the fence!

Microsoft nailed it! These are a must have!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset blew me away. I had a refurbished Turtle Beach Stealth 600 which was okay, but the Xbox Wireless headset blows it out of the water. The bass is incredible, along with the volume controls. It paired to my Xbox Series X in less than 3 seconds and installed an update very quickly. The audio from party chats also sounds amazing, and the microphone is really good! The padding is very comfortable all the way around on the headset. They nailed it out of the park!

Unbeatable Value
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best wireless headset for the pricepoint. It's light weight and has a crisp clear mic that can be muted with ease. The volume adjusts simply by turning the outer earpiece knob and the over the ear cups are soft to wear. The one gripe I have about the headset is that it can become a little warm due to the snugness of the earcup fit. This is well worth the price if you're shopping under close to a hundred dollars. Can't beat it.

Simple, lightweight, fantastic sound
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great headset! Sound quality and comfort is great. Really, I am not much of a social player, so I kind of wish the mic piece could be better hidden or removed altogether. Still, it is an awesome deal and love that wireless/recharging of it. I've had a few glitches, like on Mass Effect--but this has been on the developer end, not the hardware (would crash out when booting up the ME1 game, so I had to turn on headset after loading the game up). So far so good overall on the headset. Recommended at this decent $100 entry point! Love the way the ear pieces serve a dual purpose as a volume knob!

MUST BUY!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a pair of $120.00 Astro A20's. The update software was complicated and never worked. They constantly disconnected and muted themselves. THE MICROSOFT XBOX WIRELESS HEADSET IS the biggest steal at the price! It is incredible. Flawless connection via Bluetooth. Flawless audio. Very plush and comfortable! Excellent battery life, simple charging. This headset has it all. One of the coolest features is that you can connect the headset to your Xbox and your cellphone at the same time. This lets you take calls and jam out to music all while hearing the game audio. This headset is truly a GAMECHANGER!!

Holy bass batman
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These things sound INCREDIBLE!!! $99?!?! I bought a set of JBL LIVE 500BT normally priced at $150 on a deal. With the auxillary cable, and inline mic, I can use them with my Xbox. I had a gift card for $100 and just said "the heck with it" and picked up a pair of these. These headphones absolutely BLOW the JBLs out of the water, and I'm a hardcore JBL fan (their speakers are amazing). I got home and set these up. I set up the Dolby for Headphones ($15 for the license) on my Xbox Series X. The first sound that came through blew my head apart (not literally lol). The audio that comes from these is absolutely amazing. The mic button (mute and unmute) is very easy to find. No confusing mixer buttons, as the left earcup cover rotates to the front for game audio, to the middle (you can feel it lock) for a balanced mix between game, and party chat. Finally all the way back for pure chat audio. They're USB C rechargeable (I love this, because all of my accessories are). The mic is great, because it isnt in your face, its just out of the way. The master volume is controlled conveniently by the left ear cup cover. You can also connect these to your phone AND Xbox at THE SAME TIME! I play music on my phone, and listen to my game audio at the same time. Man, Microsoft. I was going to wait for a price drop, but I see why it never happened. These headphones are worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! Also! The Xbox allows for you to adjust the audio via an equalizer in the Xbox accessories app. If you like heavy-hitting, punchy bass. There are it man. They're just.... They're IT.

Microsoft hit this one out of the park.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The most comfortable set of headphones I've ever worn (out of around 30 pairs.) They look great, sound great and with approx. 12 hours continuous battery life and a good mic. There are a couple on the market that sound better, but not by much. Love the rotating ear-cup design for volume and chat functionality. Dolby Atmos and Dolby DTX really do make these cans pop with as much bass as you want and at little to no distortion at high volumes. For the price, they're an absolute steal, so get them before the scalpers do, otherwise you'll be paying double than MSRP.

Great Quality Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound is great. Its comfortable wearing for hours. No outside noise whatsoever. Feels Premium. I can hear footsteps very well playing games like Halo Multiplayer and Apex Legends which are key to me. Could be bassy to some people but you can adjust it to your liking with the built-in equalizer in Xbox Accessories settings. These headphones are worth the $100 price tag. Also I recommend trying out Dolby Atmos App with these headphones, It's a game changer for that immersed sound.

Headphones are FIRE!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start this review off with that I have always bought gaming headphones that are under $50. Never been really into the uber expensive ones as I am a causal gamer. That being said, when I saw Microsoft was coming out with these I figured I would give them a shot. Overall these headphones are awesome. Sound quality is great and they allow you to wirelessly connect to the Xbox and phone at the same time working seamlessly. The volume and chat controls on the side make adjustments super easy!! Much easier than fishing for a controller somewhere on the cord, or a little button on the headset. The headsets are fairly comfortable. I recently took off a few days to play some video games and wore then pretty much all day. They never bothered me and were comfortable. On that note...battery life. Overall battery life is good. When I used them for the day, it started to die at around the 7th to 8th hour. The two people I had been playing with, have the headsets as well and theirs stayed charged. I was listening to music off my phone though and they weren't, so I imagine that is why mine died. We grabbed a quick bite to eat and when we did, I plugged mine in and they worked for several more hours. Being wireless, is a HUGH plus. Your movements aren't restricted due to a cord, and when you get killed for the 10th time by the same person and throw your controller across the room, you don't have to worry about your headset yanking your neck around!! I was worried about delays due to wireless connectivity, but haven't noticed one at all! There are a few thing's I am not a huge fan of. The mute butto to me is in an akward postion. It is towards the back of the mic, which seems like a logical spot, but for some reason I usually have to fish around for it. I have also had a couple instances where the chat adjustment wasn't working. Usually a restart of the headphones fixes it, but worth noting. I suppose that could be due to them just being new and working out the bugs. The switching between differnt Xboxs could be better too. I have two Xboxs, one for me and one for my wife (we got two headsets as well and both of us love them), and if I try to use my headset on her Xbox, I have to pair it to hers and then pair it back to mine later. Admittedly I havent done research to see if there is a work around, but it isn't a huge deal. Again, overall a great headset!! If you are looking for something that is good quality and works well overall, these are the headsets for you. They do have their little nuisances, but to me that comes with the terrority when buying a brand new device.

Punches Above Its Weight!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For $99, these official headsets punches above its weight! In order to find features such as Bluetooth pairing, VSS you would have to pay at least $50 more. The headset is on the small side, but it offers ula snug, comfortable fit. The sound stage is precise, although a bit bass-heavy. They are also different equalizer settings in the Xbox Accessories App. Overall, you can't go wrong with these headsets!
