A Must Have for Every Starfield Fan
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Microsoft Xbox Wireless Gaming Headset in the Starfield Edition is a sleek and stylish headset that delivers an immersive and high-quality audio experience for gamers. With its compatibility for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10|11, it offers versatility for different gaming platforms. First and foremost, let's talk about the sound quality. The Xbox Wireless Gaming Headset provides clear and balanced audio, allowing you to hear every detail in your games. The headset is equipped with custom-tuned 50mm drivers that deliver rich and immersive soundscapes, whether it's the booming explosions in an action-packed game or the subtle background music in an atmospheric adventure. The headset features spatial audio technology, which further enhances the gaming experience. With this technology, you'll have a better sense of direction and spatial awareness, making it easier to locate enemies or immerse yourself in the virtual world. Additionally, the headset supports Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone:X for an even more immersive audio experience. Comfort is a crucial aspect of any gaming headset, and the Xbox Wireless Gaming Headset excels in this area. It features a lightweight design with soft and breathable ear cushions that provide long-lasting comfort, even during extended gaming sessions. The adjustable headband ensures a secure fit for different head sizes, and the ear cups can be rotated to fit comfortably around your ears. Another standout feature is the wireless connectivity. With Xbox Wireless technology, you can connect the headset directly to your Xbox console without the need for a separate dongle. The connectivity is reliable and has minimal lag, ensuring a seamless gaming experience. The headset also offers Bluetooth connectivity, so you can use it with your mobile devices or PCs for gaming or listening to music. The battery life of the Xbox Wireless Gaming Headset is impressive, offering up to 15 hours of continuous use on a single charge. Additionally, a quick charge feature allows you to get around 4 hours of use with just a 30-minute charge, ensuring that you won't be interrupted during your gaming sessions. One minor drawback of the headset is the lack of some premium features like active noise cancellation. While the headset offers good noise isolation, it doesn't completely block out all external sounds. However, this doesn't significantly affect the overall gaming experience. In conclusion, the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Gaming Headset in the Starfield Edition is a remarkable headset that provides excellent sound quality, comfort, and wireless connectivity. Whether you're gaming on an Xbox console or a PC, this headset delivers immersive audio for a truly engaging gaming experience. With its stylish design and impressive battery life, it's a great option for gamers who want a quality headset that combines style and performance.

A must-have for any Starfield fan!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro: For the price, I would call this a steal. I have had many other headsets in the past but this one does not only offer good sound quality but also is comfortable on the ears and has a satisfying weight. The skin is great and works well with my setup. Battery seems to last a long while too. Added bonus with the power on/mute/unmute sound bites as well. Con: I wish there was a way to mute the mic without having to reach up to my head. Does make it feel like I'm really piloting a spaceship though.

Great headset at a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft really hit this one out of the ballpark, I just got these in today and right away they are my favorite headsets for gaming. I really like this for a few reasons: 1. Price: at $99 Microsoft I wouldn’t say is taking a loss, but any other headset manufacture would sell these for at least $150 if bot $200 2. Confortable: These fit perfectly on my head, I have trouble with other headsets (i have an average head) as they clamp down on my head so much that it gives me a headache only after a few minutes of gaming, these don’t have that problem. 3. Sound: crisp and clear, and with the help of the Xbox app (The same one where you can customize the Elite controllers) you’re able to tinker with the sound, at its highest these things are super loud, with great bass if you so choose if not you can tone that down as well. 4. Battery: since I just got this I don’t know how long the battery will last, but I’m sure it’ll at least be decent. I’ll update this later if necessary. 5. Build Quality: this is a no-frills headset, it only does one thing and one thing well and that is sound great for gaming.. The plastics feel premium and the (what im sure is fake leather) material it’s good enough, they are soft and fit well around my ears, they also mute everything around me and only lets me concentrate on the game. 6. Mic: The mic works good, and everybody can hear me, but it might take some getting used to for some people, it only folds up and wraps around the left ear cup to get them out of the way, A mute button ensures that people don’t listen when you don’t want them to, It doesn’t extend in or out or detach. The quality is such that I’m sure these things can be folded up and down thousands of times with no problems Very happy with these headsets, they are a great price, great build, and the best part is they are completely wireless, they pair to the Xbox exactly how you would Perry controller, you just hold down the button for a few seconds and that’s it. Make sure you mess with the sound settings on the app if you don’t find them sounding great right away.

Works like a Dream.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Feels comfortable enough to wear for hours and has the battery for it too. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I haven't used the microphone function *at all* before writing this. Great at keeping out loud noises and can adjust head sizes. I got mine for 100 USD in store, fair price for the gear.

Top Tier Value Across the Board!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I review/buy most gaming headsets on the market (GadgetryTech) and this one is really a home run. The fact that you can use this as a Bluetooth headphone at the same time you're paired to an Xbox or Windows 10 PC is amazing. You can also wirelessly connect to a PC if you have an Xbox wireless transmitter, or you can use a long USB-C cable and it will still get detected. The 15 hour battery is normal at this price range, as are the leatherette ear cups and basic design. USB-C is a welcome add and I like the ear-cup style volume and game mix adjustments, as they are very easy to use. PROS: -Very comfortable at this price point -Exceptionally loud (louder than SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless and TurtleBeach Stealth 600 Gen 2). Comparable volume to LucidSound LS15X -App for tuning is amazing - very easy to use to cycle presets and customize (which is a must here). It also wirelessly updates the firmware which is a big win -One of the more stable direct-paring headsets for Xbox right now -Bluetooth works flawlessly (Uses 4.2 with SBC codec) CONS -Way too much bass in default game profile with little detail (one of the worst in detail at this price point in stock EQ profile -Mic monitoring (side tone) where you can hear yourself speak through the drivers is incredibly weak/low in volume, even at max setting -Mic Mute light is backwards - Xbox App calls it "mic mute light", but when the light is on, the mic is on (not muted!) Important Notes/Final thoughts: -This headset NEEDS to be tuned to get the most out of it. The bass is too strong. Use the app to significantly reduce bass at the 125 and 250 Hz levels (set to 3rd lowest notch for 125, and 2nd lowest notch for 250). Leave 1 kHz and 8 kHz alone, and bump 4 kHZ by one full notch. Doing this makes a massive difference in sound quality and puts this headset at the top in sound quality at this price point. -This headset pairs to a phone or PC (via bluetooth) while you're gaming which is amazing. It supports Discord, but the hands free profile mode will reduce game volume and make the Discord voice chat sound bad. Instead, send Discord chat to standard BT wireless profile, and use a USB mic or webcam mic for chat via Discord while you play on Xbox That's about it! I covered this in much greater detail but overall this is an easy recommend at $100. It's honestly incredible in value and performance. This was NOT sent to me for review.

Wish I had gotten them sooner! Great mic quaility!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely comfortable and very responsive to commands. The right ear cup controls the volume which is very convenient. The left ear cup controls the mix between voice and game sound. I have my phone paired to the headset so I can listen to music while gaming. Connectivity is the best I’ve experienced out if 3 other wireless brands. I’ve had alot of connectivity issues with the steel series arctics 9x. These headphones were my saving grace, I can finally just enjoy gaming without having intermittent connectivity issues. The battery life is awesome! Sometimes I forget to charge them because the battery lasts so long. Headphones give a light tone to signal they have been turned on. I even set them up to turn on my Xbox when they are turned on. Mic quality was the most unexpected upgrade. The squad I play with mentioned how much better they can hear me. They also mentioned that my voice is clear and not muffled as it’s been for the past 4 years. My only regret is not getting these things sooner!

Xbox wireless headset with Dolby Atmos for gaming!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow these headphones are dope. I didn’t want to spend more than a bill on a headset. I wanted a headset for my Xbox and pc. You’ll have to tweak the settings asap because it’s bass heavy out the box. YouTube the best settings. I decided to include the Dolby atmos from the Microsoft store to enhance the sound. DTS is also an option. I paired it to my Xbox and PC without any trouble. I’m not an expert on audiophile but these sound great with Dolby atmos. You can control the volume on the right side and balance the game/person chat on the left. The only negative is the mic is short. The headphones are comfortable but after 2 hours I need to take them off for a moment. Best part is the wireless, I can walk around without any wires issues.

Shockingly good sound at a reasonable price
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are shockingly good for their price, especially against really expensive options that deliver lower quality sound. Battery life is pretty good, and the distance you can walk away from the console on Bluetooth is impressive.

Q: QuestionCan you answer calls while playing a game?
Asked by School.
- A:Answer Yes, you may connect Xbox Wireless Headset to your Xbox and mobile phone simultaneously.

Q: QuestionThe box says the charging cable is USB-C, but my Xbox Series X doesn't have any USB-C ports. So what is Microsoft's official recommendation to SAFELY charge these headphones?
Asked by exalt3dsoil.
- A:Answer Thank you for asking! While the port on the headset is USB-C, the cable is USB-C to USB-A so that you can connect it to your Xbox console. This is the same method for connecting Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and new Xbox wireless controllers to Xbox Series X/S.

Q: QuestionWhy do both sides of the headphones seem to operate the game volume? I turn the left cup volume all the way down it cuts all volume out completely. Same for the right. It's like both sides adjust overall game volume. I thought one side was for Mic only.
Asked by Ashtostone.
- A:Answer Left side is for game audio vs chat audio. So if you want to hear your party chat or game chat more you turn the volume on the left side and it will lower the game audio. If you turn it the other way the game audio will go up and your chat audio will go down. The right side it basically master volume. It will turn all audio up or down.

Q: QuestionI see in the picture, the back of the box says “voice isolation and auto mute.” What does that mean? Also is this headset noise cancelling?
Asked by Joey.
- A:Answer Thank you for your question. Two unique, built-in features the Xbox Wireless Headset possesses are auto-mute and voice isolation features. Auto-mute will strongly suppress background noises when you are not speaking, and voice isolation will help tune in to just your voice when the microphone channel is open. Auto-mute is an adjustable chat volume threshold that determines when the audio your mic pics up should transmit to friends in your chat party. Through the Xbox Accessories App on your console (support for PC app coming at a later date), you can set your auto-mute sensitivity ranges from low (some sounds are muted) to high (most sounds are muted). By creating a volume threshold for chat audio, we give you the controls to reduce unwanted background noise from being shared with your friends and teammates. Voice isolation is a combination of a beamformer and digital noise reduction algorithm. By combining the signal of two microphone elements with some DSP filtering applied, background noises can be suppressed, but your speech will be maintained. Xbox Wireless Headset won't cancel out outside noise, but voice isolation will help cancel out sounds other than your voice when chatting into the microphone.
