Mirror's Edge is the type of game that you MUST play...once...and then you can throw it away or w/e you want to do with it. The idea is simple...you run, you climb on things, you jump. Simple concept, awesome finishing product...or so i thought. When that awesome idea is put into a game that forces you to a set path, it is no longer what it set out to be. While this game is certaintly innovative, the mechanics would only TRULY work in an open world. The developers have made a nice game that you really do have to play atleast once, because it is something new, but they didn't think of what they could of done with it in the big picture. The storyline is mediocre... your sister is framed for a murder, you have to find out why. The main story lasts about 3-4 hours, and after that you unlock Time Trials and Speedruns for each missions. Basically your doing the same exact thing, no matter what mode your playing. And the entire time you're being told that you're free to run wherever you want, you're also being told to run a certain path. 6.9/10

this game is the best game i've played inyears. this is one game you'll definately want to buy, not rent, because no matter what you do it never gets boring. this game also gets you hooked once you get used to the controls: (LB)-jump (LT)-crouch/let go of objects (RT)-open doors/shoot (Y)-disarm (A)-interact with buttons and stuff although these controls are confusing at first, you get really used to them. i actually bought the game from Wal-mart, but its the same price but it doesn't matter. the graphics a most definately next gen. more people need to know about this game and buy it. DEFINATELY.

Best original game ever. The graphics are phenomenal. You can never do the stuff you do in this game in any other games combined!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Simply amazing, great game and storyline. The graphics are awesome, and the time trial mode makes the game even more addicting.

This is an awesome game. Parkour meets the extreme. You will have fun after finishing the story line with the time trial courses. This is definitely a game that should be in your game collection.

EA did a great job on this game. A free roam game based on the feds/cops chasing after you in a city. You must do your best to run. loads of fun, a clean GTA!

I love this game, best game by EA so far. I love how it's a first person camera angle. I'd recommend this to anyone, it's a great game for almost all ages.
