My Modal lightning cables invariably stop working after a couple months (though I continue to replace them with Modal cables!) Unlike their lightning charging cables, I’ve not needed to replace this Modal product (except when upgrading watches). I’ve been using Modal brand watch bumper cases since my first  Watch (the Series 1) and have been satisfied with the protection and appearance. They’ve absorbed quite a beating and resisted a number of thick, sticky liquid spills. I’m convinced that without these bumpers, the Apple Watches I’ve worn would’ve been cosmetically ruined. Now I won’t use/wear a new Apple Watch without first putting on a Modal bumper case. I recommend anyone with an Apple Watch use this product (and believe I should be compensated for writing such an endorsement for the Modal/store brand!) Note: I should add a warning to point out the difficulty of putting these on. If you’re not mechanically-inclined, prepare yourself for a challenge. Seek help or view a video tutorial. Minus one star for failing to include instructions.

This is a two pack for a similar price then other vendors are selling one single one. They are soft and squishy, rather then hard, and they flex. Protection is adequate unless you're doing some major stunts, or heavy duty work with your hands. The space grey one matches the watch well, isnt obvious, and pairs really well with a grey leather band, or black sports bands. Clear will pretty much pair with anything.

I have always made it mandatory for myself to get these with any watch I get. It totally helps preventing damage and scratching when you accidentally bump into something. I believe these are essential, and come in two different colors. I use the clear one more than the other color because it matches my band.
