Many problems compared to Apple version
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I checked out this strap in store, and compared it side by side with the Apple version, trying both on my watch and wrist. - The modal strap had one faulty lug (part that slides into the Apple Watch body), so that it wouldn't connect firmly to the watch. It would simply slide all the way through without clicking into place. I tried every way I could to make it connect, and it just wouldn't. No, it wasn't in upside down. The Apple version connected perfectly. - The lug was attached to the strap crookedly. When inserted into the watch, the strap was angled to the side, not in line with the watch body or the other strap. This was clearly a manufacturing defect. - The nylon material was stiffer and rougher than the Apple version. - The buckle hardware was nylon or plastic, not metal like the Apple version. It was harder to close and open, and looked cheap.
